      We purchased a manufactured home from oakwood. With the agreement to have footers under all blocking required by the city of ********* aswell as ******* homes own installation recommendation. As they removed the old home they broke our water line and sewer line. Refusing to take our phone call we had no choice but to pay to fix it. Then upon bringing the new home in, they ignores my instructions and clear markings and proceeded to break the sewer and water line again. Again refusing to answer are call forwarding us to corporate. Corporate stating it's the (***) location that's liable. Going on a year now the manager ****, has been extreamly rude saying he wasn't giving us any money when all I wanted was out footers done correctly and I would have forgave the water and sewer line. But instead he called us names and lied to other workers in the office saying he had already resolved the issue and to ignore *********** and documents are to large to add.       1. HC failed to pour all footers none at doorways
      Door was stuck shut, couldnt get out of the home. 3-4 days later tech came and adjusted but does not close as it should- 

      The door was stuck we readjusted the door, and it has been working properly for months. We have never poured concrete to set perimeter piers on. He has runners under the home in the proper locations. These runners meet all the standards recommended by the manufacture of the home.   

      2.Screen door has gaps all the way around and doesnt close properly

      Considering all factors that may have caused this issue. This is not a warrantable item at this time.  

      3.He says he has diagram that HC gave shows footers under headers

      It is a blocking diagram not a footer diagram. He has been told this multiple times.

      4.Said he was told someone would come out in 6 months to have someone check level of home. 

      We do not do this. I have offered to send someone to relevel the home with the understanding that if the home is level, he will be responsible for the cost. He will not agree to these terms.

      I am rejecting this response because:


      They have failed to accept responsibility on the damages their moving company caused on our water and sewer line I've provided images. They also fail the recognize our contract stated all fourns up to $4,000.00 witch then I has handed the document stating were the footers would need to be for all blocking And told the estimate was $4,000.00. They also neglect to admit the ******* homes installation manual gives exact measurements. They should be. They also fail to rember city of ********* had specific requirements and were given the ordinances before hand I have included a copy of those as well. They required them to be 2 feet by 2 feet and 2 feet deep. They are not they're 18 inches wide by 12 inches deep. Our door still sticks as well they have not fixed that issue as they claim. And they said all homes get a 6 moth check on the leveling so now I have to pay for it that's ridiculous. Now they're just trying to buy time to get out of warranty.

      Attached you will find the Po where we paid for the runners. Cost was $4900 it is written on the sales that we would install runners up to a cost of $4500. When the bill came in, I made the decision to cover the additional cost even though it was higher than what we agreed on. 

      All of the documents he has attached refer to piers not footers. The piers are installed to all state guidelines and have been inspected. 

      The water and septic line where existing on the property not buried correctly or marked. They broke under the weight of the home. We are not responsible for the improper installation of them.

      I am rejecting this response because:
      The section is titled footers, piers are required to have footers or why else put them in the section lableds footers. Then why else go into great deatail of the size and location for each footer. They're are trying to make any excuses now. They got the quote before hand putting it in the contract. Was to ensure they actually did it.THEY HAD THE CITY ORDINANCES ON FOOTERS AS WELL.The quote was for all footers including piers. ITS NOT MY PROBLEM YOU UNDER ESTIMATED. We had a contract you need to ***** the contract.

       

      He continues to fail to explain his responsibility for the damaged sewer line and water line. That his crew left running for 3 days. Before I had the city cut the meter off. **** what's your excuse for demaging my property. You refuse to mention it because your 100% liable. And I've consulted an attorney as well. That's prepared to take it the distance. Then you'll be on the hook for attorney fees as well as demages. I just want my s*** done properly I'm not asking for much. The paperwork I signed at time of delivery also states they come out at the 6 month date to re level. And don't forget I have all the text messages from ****** apologizing for the damage to the property and promises to make it right. ****** as you would contact me with a resolution. I'm trying to give you a chance todo the right thing. Stop s******* your customers. I'm sure it'll turn into a nice class action lawsuits. Cause I'm not the only one.

      I purchased a home from Oakwood homes OKC. We closed around 05/31/2022. I paid $1000 deposit that their salesman, Carlos, said would be refunded once closing was completed. It has been almost 4 months and I still don’t have my deposit refund. I have sent multiple emails to Carlos and Cody and have called their office a couple of times to see if the check was there and available for pickup. Everytime I contact them, they tell me to check back Friday. They tell me the check has been ordered but still isn’t available for pickup. 4 months is an awful long time to be waiting for your own money.

      We submitted to the PO to get the customers refund. It was canceled by our corporate office because the money was not given to us Mrs. ***** it was given to us by her mother in law. We have since submitted a PO in the correct persons name.
