A year ago in January, 2024 my mother died. She was the trustee over some mineral rights being leased by Continental Resources. After her death, my sister and I had an LLC formed. We had the mineral rights first put into our names, and then transferred into the LLC. Once that was accomplished I contacted Continental in mid December by email asking what I needed to do to get the checks put under the LLC name and into the new bank account.

They told me I needed the death certificate, a voided check, one of their forms filled out and a copy of the deeds. I mailed all of these to Continental the last week of December.

I got a letter and an email back at the end of January saying the request was denied because the mineral rights were in a trust and they needed an affidavit showing that I was the new trustee, plus the intermediary deeds showing the transfer into my and my sister's names.

I emailed these to Continental on January 30, 2025, and have not heard back since, and the checks continue to go into the trust's account.

One cannot call and talk to a person at this company. If you do all that you get is a recording asking you to email them your concern and then are redirected to their voicemail. Each attempt I have made to contact them I have given them my phone number and asked if they need anything or have a question to please contact me.

Today July 16th of 2024. I have an issue with Continental Resources on not being honest with me as their client and not doing their job. They pretty much kept me in the dark and rarely call me back when I call to check on the progress of the back payment of the oil part of my payment. More of the explanation is below. It is very frustrating.

    Business Response

    Date: 08/15/2024

Continental Resources, Inc. has spoken with *** ******* on numerous
occasions, answered all of her questions, and provided her with information. Continental
has explained to her that because of the very small mineral interest she owns, there
will be little monthly revenue associated with her interest and she will not
receive payment from Continental until her revenue exceeds the $100 check minimum
per Oklahoma law. Continental has also explained to her that, pursuant to Oklahoma
law, she can elect to receive payment when her revenue exceeds a lower
threshold of $25. To date, she has not exercised this option.

When her account balance exceeded the $100 minimum, *** ******l received payment from Continental in the amount of $104.39 by check
dated June 25, 2024, which check has cleared the bank. As of August 14, 2024,
    her account balance is $25.87.

Most recently, *** ******* contacted Continental via email
on August 14, 2024, asking that Continental increase her ownership interest because
she wants or needs more money. That is not legally possible. Continental can
only credit *** ******* with revenue attributable to the interest she actually
    owns.

Even though Continental has already explained everything to
*** *******, she bombards Continental representatives in multiple departments with
almost daily calls or emails. For this reason, Continental asked her to cease
and desist from harassing Continental representatives.
