    We hired Playa Pools in the Spring of 2023 to resurface our pool/spa, replace the spa heater, and install a new automatic pool cleaner. The work was partially completed May/June 2023. The spa heater was not working. We finally got that resolved after many phone calls and waiting several months. During this wait, our automatic pool cleaner stopped working, per our weekly pool maintenance company. We called Playa Pools to come out and look at it, but they never did. We finally had to buy a new pool cleaner to keep up with the leaves. We called Playa Pools and left many, many messages for someone to come check it out and to finally take it back for a refund since it was still under warranty. We even called the pool cleaner manufacturer and they said wed have to go through the pool company who purchased it. But, nobody from Playa Pools ever came out to see what was wrong. It was brand new and under warranty, so it couldnt have been anything major to fix, but nobody would call us back or come by. We still cant get any response, nobody will return our phone calls for a resolution to the pool cleaner we no longer need but have already paid for. Wed like a refund for the pool cleaner, Polaris TR28P, which sells for around $800.

    We had Playa Pools resurface, tile, and plaster our pool in November of 2020. We have a seven year warranty. The pool had a lot of streaking when they finished and we asked them to acid wash the pool again. They said that it would be best to wait until the end of the first season (fall of 2021) as too much acid washing is bad for the pool. We have been calling them ever since. This year we noticed that it needs patch work in three places. We contacted Playa Pools. We were surprised that they came out that day to look. They were supposed to come out the next week to repair. They did not show or call. We called them and they were again supposed to come out. Same thing, no call no show. Then the next. Now they don't even respond or say they will let me know when they will be out and they don't . We paid Playa Pools approximately $17,000.00.
