Trademark committed to provide me with roof replacement, final invoice, pictures of both pre work damage and post work completions (hail storm damage/insurance claim process), and would send all invoice, photos, and notes to insurance company.
Trademark has not delivered final photos to insurance as of today, 5/21/2025. Trademark owner, ****** *********, texted me on Friday, May 16th, telling me all photos had been taken and submitted. Insurance confirmed on 5/19/2025 that they have not received photos or anything from Trademark in May. I have attempted to text ****** and have left multiple voicemails with no call back. I’m currently out of pocket +$3,000 and feel misguided and lied to, as it relates to service from Trademark and ******.
Additionally, ****** told me on May 7th that they would have it wrappped up by the end of the week. I have text receipts. On April 28th, I had to ask for confirmation that he has read my texts and requests to send photos to insurance.
No invoice or order number to include from Trademark. They simply have my insurance claim number listed on the invoice.Business Response

After the hail damage in June of 2023, we hired Trademark Exteriors to do our roof and gutters on our house. The contract price was $38,508.27. The contract states that they will also replace the dryer vent and that we will keep $3283.27 of the insurance funds for items they are not done by Trademark. The roof was replaced in July of ********************************************* We subtracted the $3283.27 from those funds and paid Trademark $34062.59. They did not replace the dryer vent as stated in the contract and, as of June of 2024, have still not replaced the vent. The last insurance payment came in August of 2023 and was paid to Trademark in the amount of $1163.00. Since then, Trademark has been calling and texting my wife and me about another insurance check. I have told them over and over that the insurance company stated they consider the matter closed and are not paying out any more money. I was called around the 5th of May asking if I had received another insurance payout and I informed them again, that I had not and that the insurance company has stated to me that there will not be another payment. The lady informed me that they had sent a the documents to the insurance company again in March of 2024 stating that the work had been completed, even though it has not been completed. I contacted my insurance company and they told me that Trademark had sent the completed form again in March, to which they denied it stating that they told Trademark all monies had been paid. I email the company at their listed email address ************************************ on May 6, 2024, explaining all of this and have not gotten a reply. The most recent text came on May 31, 2024, asking again, if I had received any payments from insurance for the roof. I have not replied back. I have paid them all the monies that was given to me from the insurance company, minus the agreed upon $3283.27, but they have not finished their part by replacing the dryer vent.Business Response

I am writing to share my experience with Trademark Exteriors regarding repairs following a storm. Regrettably, this company has been profoundly disappointing in their service delivery. They were tasked with addressing five key elements: the roof, gutters, one window, swimming pool, and the garage door. While the oversight concerning the garage door was understandable, the overall performance fell below expectations. The assigned "project contractor" exhibited poor organization and failed to effectively manage the simple task of overseeing these five aspects. Furthermore, the initial invoice received approximately three weeks ago stated a charge of $37.1K for the roof and gutters, in ***** contrast to the **** settlement's clear valuation at $28.7K. Despite my request for a revision, subsequent invoices continued to inaccurately reflect the settlement amount.I took the initiative to contact the company twice, including a conversation with the supervisor on November 21, assuring me of a corrected invoice by the following day. Unfortunately, as of December 2, I have yet to receive the promised revision.I am writing this review to caution others about the potential challenges in contracting with this company. I urge careful consideration and thorough review before engaging Trademark Exteriors for any repair work.Business Response

Trademark did our roof last month. They were unreliable from the beginning. After they did the roof we realized our driveway was cracked in two places and the shingles were sticking through our roof from broken boards that were not fixed or replaced; support beams in the roof were also cracked. They also ripped our air duct work, which we had inspected just last year. We had two project managers come out and agree that the driveway would be fixed and the broken boards replaced and cracked support beams replaced because they were not up to code and solely due to negligence from the roofing crew. After three weeks the job hadn't been done after several calls made to the company. Finally they came out on Monday the 16th. They fixed some of the boards and exposed shingles but didn't fix the beams, duct work or driveway. The owner then called me and yelled at me. He accused me of lying and being greedy and trying to "get free stuff out of him." I told him I only wanted fixed what the crew had damaged and what his own project managers had said would be fixed. He was very rude, loud, and hostile. He even agreed he was being hostile because he didn't like "people using him." I was in shock by the way he spoke to me, when I don't want anything else but to have what was damaged replaced as was promised. We have already paid his business and again, his managers agreed the issues were due to their crew's negligence and would be fixed. The owner does not care at all about customer service or basic decency.Business Response

BBB Complaint; Sarah *********
I am the owner that spoke to Sarah, I did not "yell" at her. Completely not true.
Reliable? We do all work with NO MONEY DOWN. Everything we told Sarah we would do has been done or has been assigned to the contractor doing the work. Sarah told methat she did not want Trademark Exteriors back on the property.
Cracked driveway, customer stated that our trailer, not a dumpster, we use a trailer with rubber tires, cracked her driveway. The area where she had an existing crack was in an area that our trailer was not parked, I sent her a photo showing her this, she was also aware of this. We still offered to fill in the existing cracks for her, she seemed satisfied with that.
The customer has an insurance policy that does not pay for code upgrades. This is a cheaper policy that the customer chose. The home should have been redecked with 7/16" OSB to bring the roof to code. The customer was informed of this, even signed our "Non-plywood sheathing disclosure". There were some rotted/broken boards that were replaced by Trademark Exteriors (at no additional cost to the customer) During the re-roof of the house, there were a few other boards that cracked, this can happen during the re-roof process. This is one of reasons insurance companies pay to bring the roof deck up to code. These broke at no fault of Trademark Exteriors negligence but we still said that we would repair those areas for the customer. (Again at no additional cost)
Broken Rafter, the customer did have a cracked rafter. We have never cracked a rafter in the 16 years we have been re-roofing houses but I guess anything is possible. We told the customer as soon as the broken rafter was brought to our attention that we would do a repair to the rafter (Once again, at no additional cost to the customer) The roof crew came out to take care of the broken deck boards, Sarah was mad that the rafter was not
taken care of at that time. The rafter needs to be repaired by aframer. We
** ** **** *************** ***** ********73105 ************
have every intention of taking of the rafter issue forSarah, we told herthat. We explained
that it would be a different crew that takes care of that. I'm guessing that maybe sheis upset it didn't all happenat the same time?
Duct Work, There is NO WAY possible that we did any damage to any duct work. We have photos of what she was complaining out. Our project manager showed her and Sarah was very aware that issue had absolutely nothing to do with her roof install. Its basically a plastic bag wrap around the flex duct.
Every issue that the customer has, has either been taken care of or scheduled to be taken care of. The customer was told that during our last conversation. Sarah told me she didn't want me to do anything more to her house. We will still take care of the issues the customer has, she will just need to communicate with the project manager so we can get the issues back on the schedule.
Trademark Exteriors has over 600 positive reviews across different review platforms. We ALWAYS take care of any issues that come up with customers. We operate a construction company, issues often arise and will always take care of everything. (Just like we have done and offered to do in this situation) Sadly there just are times the customers think this is an opportunity to take advantage of a contractor. This is one of those times. We still have offered to resolve every issue that was brought up by Sarah, I'm not sure what more we are supposed to do in this situation??
In closing, the only items left to be done to satisfy the customers requests are: Repair the cracked rafter by sister, or splinting the cracked rafter with 2 solid pieces on either side and fill I the existing driveway cracks with a concrete filler/sealant. It would take us about an hour to complete this work once framer is scheduled and was able to get in the attic. (Like stated to Sarah, we are willing and planned on doing these things for her)
Sincerely yours,
Michael ******

Complaint: ********
I am rejecting this response because:Since our last communication, we decided to close our complaint because **************, the owner of Trademark Exteriors said that they would fix all the issues. This has not been done. They have only reached out to us to ask for more money. There has been no other response to our request to finish the repairs to the driveway that was cracked not by the trailer but by the pallets of equipment and the beams which were cracked during the roofing process. I have enclosed text messages from ****************, dated October 16th, where he said the same--the issues would be fixed. **************** has repeatedly given contradicting statements. He says that all we had to do was contact our project manager to get things done but when he spoke to me on the phone, he repeatedly said he wasn't going to fix anything and that his project managers (two of whom came out and acknowledged the issues as ***************;fault and promised they would be fixed) don't have the power to authorize repairs. He also stated we didn't want anyone back on our property. Why then would we contact them and repeatedly ask them to fix what they said was their fault? In turn, **************** has also stated that they are happy to resolve the situation, both in text, and in his response to this claim. Which is it? We humbly ask you to keep your word and resolve these issues. Thank you.
Sincerely,

Trademark has failed to provide me with a certificate of completion and/or final invoice that is acceptable to USAA for recoverable depreciation on the work Trademark did on my roof. Twice I have sent the information I need and even sent their certification back to them requesting the correction and I have yet to receive a corrected response. This is just lazy and sloppy work by a company that should know exactly what USAA needs.Business Response
