      Made a deal on a car on October 27th for a 2007 ****** Camry for $7,500. Was told to come back first thing in the morning to finish the deal since it was closing time. On the morning of October 28th, when we arrived to finish the deal we were met outside and told that they were not going to sell the car for $7,500. No alternative price was given. They informed us that they would check on another car that was advertised at $10,900 and "try to make it work" for $7,500. We were told to come back in an hour. Upon return, we were told that they would only sell the previously offered replacement car for "anything north of $10,000." No further information was offered on the 2007 ****** Camry. I would still like to purchase the 2007 ****** Camry for the agreed upon price of $7,500.

      The customers statement of the problem is factual, however,on the day ****** came in to purchase the vehicle, ***** quoted the customer $7,988 and she counter offered $7,500 which ***** had accepted. She did not have the money that evening, and she would be back the next day to purchase the vehicle.The next day our owner, ***************************, was at the car lot and instructed *********************** our sales Manager that he gave her the incorrect price. The vehicle was originally listed online for $10,988. ****** told ***** that we need to go ahead and honor the price of $7,500 to the customer, but ***** insisted that he would talk to the customer and make it right. Under ******* understanding from *****, everything was taken care of, and the customer understood the original price was incorrect and was satisfied at the end of the day. ****** could have reached out to speak to the owner, ******, if she was unhappy with her experience and ****** would have made the deal happen for $7,500. Unfortunately,now the vehicle has been sold and ***** is no longer employed with Wheels of Norman. We took ownership of Wheels of Norman on October 2, 2023, and take pride in our businesses and believe customer satisfaction is our main priority. We truly apologize for your experience and hope we can gain your business in the future. Customer may reach out to ****** at ************ for any questions or concerns.

      I am rejecting this response because: I was told that they would NOT sell the vehicle at the price of $7,500 or $7,988. That the sales manager said that they would sell me a **** fusion for that price but told me to come back in 15 minutes. When I came back after the 15 minutes, I was told that they would not sell me anything at that price and that the ****** Camry would only be sellable at the price of $10,988. My complaint was answered three months later so that the car could be sold and they would not have to honor the price.
