      First and foremost, I have been a regular customer here for the last 15 years. I have spent tens of thousands in this store as EVERYTHING I wear comes from here. I have never returned anything. A few months ago, I went into the store for boots. I bought the exact same pair in the same size I'd had 10 pairs of prior with no issues. I did not try on this pair as I was wearing flip flops and had worn out many pairs of those exact boots. There was no reason to try them on. I put the boots on to go to a wedding and realized they were sized wrong and entirely too tight. I went back to the store and met with a manager named Candy and tried to return the boots. She made a huge scene about the boots having been worn and said she would not return them. I was in a hurry and did not have time to pursue this issue. I decided to just eat that pair and buy another. I bought another pair of the same boots, same size, and wore them for months with no issues. I wore those out and went back to replace them. Again, grabbing the same boots in the same size thinking the one mismarked pair was a fluke. I put the new pair on to go to another wedding and they don't fit. I now have 2 pairs valued at over 500 dollars that I cannot wear. I went back to Langstons with both pairs to explain that there must be some sort of quality control issue as I've never had problems with these boots before. I opted to meet with a different manager, this time a man named ****, and he was unprofessional from the get-go. This guy would not listen to anything I said, talked over me, talked down to me, and eventually tossed one of the boots back on the counter in my direction. He eventually refunded my money but not until after we argued in front of customers for several minutes, and I was told to take my business elsewhere. I've spent entirely too much money here to be treated this way, especially by two different managers on two separate occasions. **************** standards at this place are nonexistent

      Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Unfortunately, we are usually unable to exchange or return items in worn fashion that can not be resold or returned to manufacturer. An exception was made, however, and refunds for two pair were issued and a satisfactory pair was obtained in exchange. We apologize for any miscommunication that may have led to misunderstanding or hard feelings. We will work harder to communicate our return policies and, in most cases, we're able to work out an amicable solution. Thank you.

      I came into Langston on 10/20/2022 at 10am looking for a pair of boots and before purchasing the boots I asked what is the return policy, per the employee at the Register told me they have a 90 day return or exchange policy so I went ahead and bought the boots. When on vacation came back home and put on my boots to go to work I lasted all of one hour if that and noticed that the boots were too loose so I took them off put them back into the box that I purchased them in. When I finally had time to go back to Langstons which was on November 7th I came in the store brought my receipt with all the tags in the box with the boots went to the front counter and the employee looked at the boots and told me there should be no issue at all to exchange them. All I wanted was to get a half a size smaller, so she ended up calling the manager when he finally arrived to the front counter I was immediately disrespected he was yelling and saying that these boots are no good that theyre trash and I cant resell them very loud in front of other customers which was outrageous the way he treated me his name was **** and said he was the manager. I Stated that I have the receipt and it clearly says 90 day return or exchange I have attached two photos to this complaint. I honestly feel this is racially motivated the way he approached me the way I was disrespected was uncalled for my wife was with me and she could not believe the way he was treating us mind you this is the first time Ive ever made a purchase at this store and apparently this statement says a whole lot of their whole demeanor. As I stated before all I was looking for was an exchange to a smaller size at this point I want this to be known to everybody on how this store treats their customers and I want to get a full refund and or an exchange with an apology from this individual I will be grateful but I honestly just need to get this resolved and rectified and basically honor what I was told and what it says on my receipt.

           I was sorry to learn that the Customer was dissatisfied  with the issue I tried to resolve in Store on 11-7-22. Unfortunately misunderstandings happen some times. I explained to this customer that since the Boots were worn but not defective they cannot be resold or returned to the manufacturer for any type of credit simply because the wrong size was purchased.  I did offer to sell him another pair of Boots for 50% off to help him absorb the loss that he would incur. Since this is apparently not Satisfactory with the Customer I will go ahead and offer a Full Refund or Exchange at this point in time. Please inform him to Bring the Boots back in and we will be happy to accommodate him at his earliest convenience.  Thank you,   *********************

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me as long as Iam treated fairly, I will give this company a second chance. I will make it in Friday 11/25/2022 or 11/26/22 and see if there is something I can find that will work, also work to find a pair a boots for the wife at a huge discount as well for all the troubles thanks.
