    My vehicle was towed to Gerber Collision on 17 April 2024, after I was involved in a rear-end collision. The representative told me that they couldn't begin work until the 25th of June. As of June 24, 2024, they still have not completed the repairs on my vehicle. They will not return my calls, or tell me what is going on with my vehicle. My insurance company has already paid them for the repairs and my deductible. They have had my vehicle for 69 days and counting. I am a Disabled Veteran and I only have the one vehicle and I refuse to pay for a rental, because of someone else's incompetence. They lied to my adjuster and told him that my vehicle would be done today, June 24th, but when I called this morning I got the run around with another promise to call me back, and that was a lie! I kind feel like it's because I am a Black man, because before he even looked at my vehicle he asked about the insurance check, but USAA had my vehicle towed to the in network facility???? Then he made 2 separate claims for the same accident. One on April 25, 2024, and an adjustment claim on May 20, 2024. They have be paid over $10k, plus my deductible and I still don't have my vehicle!!! This is unacceptable!!!

    Gerber Collision & Glass is aware of the complainants concerns with the delays throughout the repair process and general manager ************** reached out to him via email on 7/9/2024 and asked that he reach back out to us to discuss and we will help in any way we can. The complainant replied back via email and continues to make the situation about race and we do not feel comfortable continuing contact at this time.
