    We contacted Grace Fiberglass/***************************** to repair our leaking fiberglass/gunite pool. He came to inspect the pool and we scheduled him to do repairs May 2022. He did not show up until July 2022. Excuses, excuses, excuses - he lost his phone, it was 4th of July weekend, the weather, someone was sick, someone's child was in the hospital... He was inconsistent from the very start, would not return calls or texts. He said when he first came out that it would take 3-4 days. The first day he sent out his son and a friend, they worked about an hour. The next day the same thing, they ran out of buckets and said they would be back. They never came back. The pool was completed July 15th, 2022 (2 weeks after the initial start day). We sent him a text in September 2022 telling him that the blue gel coat was already coming off. No response. He finally came out in October 2022 to look at the pool and to schedule repairs. He said he would be back at the end of April 2023 prior to opening the pool. We began calling the first of April to "remind" him that we have him scheduled to repair the pool. Eventually he said he would be here between May *****. No show. We even told him we would drain the pool to help him along. Once we drained the pool we noticed that there are several areas where the gel coat has peeled away and is flaking off, the steps where he coated with sand is coming up. We sent him 20 pictures of the gel coat peeling away and no response. ****** took our money knowing that the gel coat only had one coat applied and it would not hold up to the weather, chemicals, or even the pool cover. He has essentially ruined our pool with little to no regard. We have all records, pictures, and texts. ****** should not be allowed to touch anyone's pool, he will ruin it and not come back to repair his shoddy work.
