March 3rd 2024 we attended a horse sale and purchased a horse from this business owned by *******************. All horses were to have any issues announced, none were announced for the horse we bought which was a gelding approx 6yrs old palomino in color. We got back to our property which was several hours away in the middle of the night come morning we checked on the horse that appeared to be depressed laying down alot which wasnt normal lethargic. We pulled him examined him in which we then found hundreds of ticks all over him in all life stages and soent 6 hours removing them, called our vet who told us to watch him he may be sick because of these ticks his former owner hadnt removed properly. ******** continued, colic symptoms appeared he wasn't acting normal we hauled him in early the next morning and he died due to multiple factors the following evening all of which he had present well before the time of purchase and that was confirmed but us paying to send his body to the university of autopsy. **** contacted ***** and hes showed no sympathy nor offered to give us a refund and with vet bills we are out over 9k. The horse had no chance he would've died no matter who bought him and shouldn't have been sold to someone else to have their heartbroken like ours was. That was dirty bad business and fraudulent in nature. We ar minimum want out $5200 back paid out for the horse of we cant have out the funds also spent on vetting to try and save his life which should've never been put on us. We have an array of documents to provide if needed.
