    I have dealt with the business for several years. All purchases have always came with a warranty of at least being able to return a part if it didn't fit. Recently they have offered an additional thirty day warranty for an extra price. In the recent past I have declined that but still had the ability to return part if it don't fit. Yesterday I made a purchase and declined the extra warranty. After paying I asked for my parts to be marked and was informed that they would not mark them because I didn't buy the warranty. I have called the main number several times getting a recording that says their hours are the times I have called and after the recording it hangs up. I try the number for the business locally and it says disconnected. There is no way to talk to someone about a dispute. After my purchase they refuse to refund my money because I didn't buy the extra warranty and now that they didn't mark the parts they claim that they don't know if the parts are the ones they sold. They make it impossible to resolve so I took this step

    "Based upon the limited amount of information provided in your letter, we are unable to research the purported transaction complained of, let alone find any pertinent details related thereto. That said, as a general matter, LKQ's pick your part locations offer all customers the opportunity to purchase a worry-free guarantee to protect their purchase for 90 days. This information is clearly communicated to customers at and prior to the point of sale. If a customer does not want to take advantage of the optional worry-free guarantee that protects their purchase and allows a customer to return a part for any reason within 90 days, they do not have to. Such customer would simply need to request the cashier remove the additional fee for the guarantee at the point of purchase. It appears that is what Mr. Shears did here, in which case he understood and agreed that he was buying the part AS-IS without a right to return.
