      Oklahoma Heart Institute: Bullied, Berated, Neglected then Rejected. The above reads the *** mission statement. If this is the type of healthcare youre seeking *** will certainly deliver. If youve experienced a crisis this is the care you can expect. Have a major heart attack? Youll have your first follow up visit with your surgeon 11 months later. Unless they cancel and setup another appointment for you 6 months after that. Express concern regarding not being seen and youll get a call from the management where they will aggressively berate you for going to seek an appointment at St ******* with a cardiologist willing to see you in less than a year after your lifes biggest emergency. Ask them to calm down and be professional - as your wife and parents are listening to the call and they will get so flustered that they hang up on you. Thats how you get cancelled as a patient I suppose? I simply wanted to find help - a support system - advice. Maybe to thank the man who operated on me. But that is not an option when your nothing but a number and a claim. So when your life is in the balance and the best possible care is what you seek - literally go anywhere else. It could be the most important decision of your life.
