Hydrocal Concrete LLC caused over $5,500 in property damage and refuses to pay the court ordered judgement! My neighbors hired Hydrocal Concrete LLC to level their back yard. First, Hydrocal hit my privacy fence with their excavator putting a massive hole it. Then they decided to cut costs by using my fence as a retaining wall for the new dirt they brought in. They piled up to 24 inches of dirt along the length of my fence which damaged the pickets and support beams. Even with photo evidence, Hydrocal lied and said they never did such a thing. We had to sue them. During the trial the owner, Miriam Jiminez, lied to the judge and claimed my fence was not damaged and that they never moved any dirt against it. We were able to show photos before and after Hydrocal began work which clearly showed they damaged the fence and how much dirt was against it. We also had a professional fence installer inspect the damage and he provided proof to the judge of Hydrocal using the fence as a retaining wall and that there was dirt pressing against it which will soon cause it to collapse. The judge agreed Hydrocal was responsible for the damage and ruled in our favor. Since then, nearly 60 days after we were awarded the judgment, Hydrocal Concrete, LLC has refused to pay. First they told use they did not have enough money to cover the approximately $5,800 judgment. Then they told us about a month ago that a check was in the mail from their insurance company. The check never arrived and since then they will not respond to any of our phone calls, text messages, or emails. We are going to have to file a garnishment against them to try and get paid for the damage they did. We could not find any proof that Hydrocal Concrete LLC is bonded or insured as they claim to be (Miriam Jiminez refused to tell us the name of their insurance company), we could not find any registered licenses, and the Secretary of State showed their LLC status expired several months ago.
