    Performed a significant amount of substandard electrical & plumbing repairs without a license that required hiring licensed trades to correct. Made decisions on cosmetic finishes without consulting me first. Laid luxury vinyl flooring in two different patterns in the same room that had to be torn out and reinstalled. None of the tile flooring in the house is level. Installed blinds incorrectly disposing of pieces of the valance rather than reading installation instructions. Paint finish on all surfaces is horrendous including all new cabinets throughout the house. Damaged the finish on a newly installed stainless steel sink. Even though I specifically asked him not to wash paint brushes inside the house he continued to do so causing damage to my septic system AND to top it off also washed tile mortar from tools down the septic system as well. With my permission he sold salvage materials; cabinets, etc & stated he was going to pay me the proceeds to help offset the remodeling costs. He sold the materials then went on vacation; it took over FOUR MONTHS to get the balance of what he owed me. This was a complete remodel that he stated would be completed in 6-8 weeks & that was allowing for unforeseen issues. After SIX MONTHS he was still far from finished & was unable to provide me a completion date I stopped writing checks; he quit. When presenting his bid he goes over the details of all of the work that is included in his bid but conceals those line items when he submits the contract via email for signature. There's much more to share. I have photos, texts & recorded conversations to substantiate everything written above.
