      My boyfriend and I were trying to purchase a puppy. We found her (****) on what seemed to be a reputable website. We contacted them via the form provided on the website and they got back to us with questions about our experience with puppies and additional pictures and videos of her. We told them that we would like the puppy and they sent over a contract including our right to ownership and the price of the puppy plus transportation. She was supposed to be delivered today and upon her beginning delivery, we were contacted by the supposed delivery company that they needed additional money for travel insurance and the appropriate crate for delivery. We told the seller that we were not contractually obligated to provide this money, but both the seller and delivery company ensured a full refund upon delivery. After providing the entirety of the deposit, both the seller and delivery company are no longer contacting us, won't respond to calls or emails and upon mentioning our intention to take legal action, they asked us for $400 more dollars. We sent them the money through *****. However, separate payments were made to the seller and delivery company. The below amount is what was paid to the delivery company. I made $700 worth of payments from my bank account to the delivery company and my boyfriend made $2,800 - $1000 to the seller and $1800 to the delivery service. The transaction date to the seller was May 6th, 2024 and the delivery service was May 7th, 2024.

      I purchased a Bull Terrier puppy on line from him. Paid $1000.00 initally for puppy. Then he needed $1500.00 for insurance and then another $500.00 for a crate. He kept saying that the puppy was in route. The puppy never showed up. After numerous e-mails, text's and phone calls, he kept saying that the puppy was still coming. The puppy was suppose to be here on January 14, 2023. Needless to say, it never showed up. I reached out to my local sherriff department. January 16, 2023 they took all the information. They reached out to the breeder. He stated to them, he didn't know me and didn't raise or sell puppies. They spoke further with him and he is starting to send some of my money back to me. I just don't want him to do this to someone else. What he is doing is cruel and heartbreaking waiting for a puppy that doesn't exist. We did find out that he has another website for Akita puppies under the same phone number
