    I paid for training classes that I did not receive. I asked for a prorated refund verbally, then later by e-mail and I did not get a response until I sent a certified registerd letter. I hoped to settle the issue amicably, but after the certified letter, I received a cease and desist letter from their attorney and I quote "It has come to Spirit Ranch's attention that you have been reaching out to Spirit Ranch's customers. Please cease and desist any and all efforts to contact Spirit Ranch's customers. If you do not cease this behavior immediately, we will be forced to consider all options including, but not limited to filing a claim in court for intentional interference with business relationships. If legal action becomes necessary, we will pursue all damages available including lost business profits, attorney's fees, and court costs". I wondered...who am I talking to? I guess they thought that would intimidate me. Instead the attorney letter caused me to file suit in small claims court. The judge sent it to mediation. Their attorney came along to mediation. The whole time, I thought...so you would pay an attorney probably a minimum of $250 per hour rather than pay me the few hundred dollars you owe me?? So...the owner of Spirit Ranch likely was out a LOT more money than I was out to file and attempt to recoup. After mediation and the conduct I witnessed, I started actually looking at their reviews. For the persons who complain, it seems the response of Spirit Ranch is more like...it's not our fault, it is yours, we tried! My take on it is that Spirit Ranch can't admit being wrong. Who knows? IF an attempt had been made to handle my customer service issue amicably, I may not have written this review They have the right to an attorney, but it seems overkill. With complaints I have heard in the dog community and my experience, I cannot recommend Spirit Ranch. Besides, many other training facilities are less expensive and are more professional.

    The owner only cares about money.Yes they love the animals but everything is about money! I worked there since October EVERYONE told me I got a free class,I quit and since I quit she took the class THAT EVERYONE SAID WAS FREE out of my check. He didn't even learn anything except how to get anxious when I leave.If they don't like u or ur dog, just know they are talking about u when u leave.But u won't know if they don't like you because they are very good at presenting a false front.

    I was looking into finding training classes before going to pick up my new puppy. I was getting this puppy with the intentions of training her to become a therapy dog so she can go to work with me, as research has shown positive results. I contacted spirit ranch and the staff was very knowledgeable on the steps I needed to take to achieve this level of training. We are almost done with our puppy course and we have learned a lot. We have been working with trainer Cody and he does outstanding work, he always has helpful advice to help accommodate our puppy's specific needs.

    We started coming here for our Golden Retriever to take puppy classes. Highly recommend Spirit Ranch Dog Training. Everyone of the employees that we have talked to are professional and knowledgeable about the Dog training program that they offer
