I was quoted a price over the phone ($65-75). Once the service was performed, I was told it was $165 and the serviceman said thats what I was told. It wasnt, and no other similar service charges close. As I look at reviews now I see others complaining of the same problem. People are being scammed. I want the additional $100 I was charged returned.

On 08/15/2022 i had called OKClocksmith Tulsa via a google search. I was told by the call center agent (unknown to me at the time) that there would a $19.99 service charge and the parts and labor start at $89.00 and goes from there. The locksmith would go into detail more about that when they were on site. The locksmith arrives on time and just take the broken key i have and just starts to go to work. the locksmith never told me the cost of services and tells me that he doesnt have an exact replica of the key i have so he would give me a dummy key until he can order the right key in 3-4 days. I get on the phone to call around to dealerships to get a quote for an actual replacement. The locksmith then get physically upset by me on the phone asking "would you like me to finish or what? i dont have all day to be here" i told the person that im just calling around because i want the actual replacement key that i thought i was gonna get because on the webiste it said you have the keys to make me replacement. Please just finish what youre doing and i am still getting the key from you as it would be a great spare in the event i lose my keys again. This key just turns on the vehicle. It doesnt lock or unlock the car because the locksmith left it blank, as in hedidnt cut the key which is what a locksmith's jobs is 99% of the time. Its not a fob so it doesnt arm or disarm the vehicle's alarm system. My autostart feature doesnt work on the vehicle now due it not being an a "verified replacment" the locksmith needs his licenses taken away as i am now scared for my own security. The locksmith was on the phone unbeknownst to me he was inviting a complete and total stranger to my residence, as i heard him say "wait for me at the office' and then 5 mins later a guy pulls up in a velvet colored van and idk who this man is, but theyre hugging and giving salutations to the man. thats probably why he forgot to cut the key so i can lock my car's doors.
