This company has overcharged us thousands of dollars. If natural gas is not high enough they just add misc fees to your billing, in our case they created the problem then blamed us for their work. Billing is a disaster and communication does not exist! Do not use this company they will get in your pocket!

DO NOT USE TIGER NATURAL GAS. If you switch your service to Tiger, you will have an extremely difficult time switching back to your local carrier. I have been trying to get them to switch my account for the last 2.5 months with no luck. They just keep giving me excuses like wrong account number, too late in the billing cycle (eventhough I have gone through 2 billing cycles).... It is quite obvious that they are keeping customers on their account so that they can charge their grossly inflated variable rate. Currently their rate is $5.71/therm while PG&E and others are approx. $2 /therm. I am leaving this warning to others so you don't get stuck like some of us. Their customer service is almost non existent. No replies or confirmations.

The customer did email on Thursday 3/3. Tiger is a small company of less than 50 employees with several out sick. We are working to get to every customer as quickly as possible. We have emailed the customer back with all the information in regards to pricing.

I'm very displeased with Tiger Natural Gas. For one, someone took full advantage of my mother who was battling Alzheimer's and Dementia. When I first reviewed my **** bill, I was wondering why there were 2 gas charges for deliveries. TIGER GAS WAS MUCH HIGHER than ***** Well! The last 2 months, I watched my **** Bill soar from $469 to a whopping $710, and Tiger gas charged me $499 for delivery of their gas. When I called, woman customer service said their rates went up. Come on now. I had never even paid over $300 for my *** bill. Tiger Gas is a rip off. Anyone doing business with this organization needs to watch out. Go back to your normal gas carrier, this company is not worth it, and an increase well over 30% was charged on my bills. Very lame excuse received from customer service. I cancelled service on the spot, and still need to pay $700 PG&E bill, $500 of that for Tiger Gas. I'm a single owner of a ranch still home in California. $500 for gas charges, you would think I lived in Michigan or Colorado Rockies... Definitely filing a complain with Public Utilities Commission and BBB.

The price for natural gas throughout the State of California in December and January has increased due to a rise in consumer demand for electrical power generated from natural gas-powered utility plants due in part to drought conditions reducing hydroelectric generation, lower wind and solar output, as well as overall increase in electrical usage. The customer can read the New York Times as well as NBC Bay area and SDGE press release as they all cover the pricing increase in the state.
