      May 22nd 2024, I went to Dr. ********************** and Associates on ************** to get new glasses, under the presumption that I was going to get the deal listed on their website, which states: "Home of the $99 Deal. Get 1 Pair of stylish eyeglasses AND an eye exam for only $99". I am a first time customer, and this should not have been an issue. However, even without additions to the glasses, the total would have been much higher than that. I requested frameless glasses ($189), and that required sturdier polycarbonate lenses ($109 x2), and I also added transitions lenses ($90). The "Routine Exam" is $89, but I got a discount since I got the eye exam and the glasses done all in the same day. That discount was for $50. I felt misled by the price, but paid it since the service was already rendered. Now, I had two options - come back to ***** when the glasses came in, or have the glasses shipped to my house. I live about 2 and a half hours away from *****, so the obvious answer for my situation was to have them shipped. This cost another $20. The total for everything together was $447.They said to wait 7-12 days for the glasses to arrive.They never came.I called back June 6th and was told that it was on its way and to wait 3-5 business days to arrive. They said shipping numbers are not provided.Still nothing.Called back today, June 13th and was told that it was just sent to "PostalAnnex" and is on its way, to wait 3-5 business days to arrive. I asked again about a tracking number and again was told that tracking numbers were not provided. I told her that the previous time I'd contacted them, they said the same thing. PostalAnnex appears to just be a hub for major shipping services, **************** and DHL, all of which provide tracking for their packages so I'm not sure why no tracking is available.I've been waiting for a total of 22 days since I made the initial order, and I'm debating whether or not I'm going to actually get these glasses. I won't be back.
