  Paid A Brush Above Painting/ Unique Renovations deposit on June 14 & progress payment on July 15th.Contracted to Prep, level and install *** flooring throughout the house along with wallpaper removal, repairing all cracks, drywall, stains.Paint ceilings, walls, doors, trim etc. Install new doors, casing, baseboards Tile the hall bath floor and removal of all waste.The cracks and stains on the ceiling were not done correctly along with missed spots, scraps marks, smooth and textured marks and did not do the laundry room.Also got paint on my stuff along with using and breaking my tools.Tile guys laid the *** flooring but did not prep the cement floor or level it or lay a required moisture barrier. Did not install the quarter rounds or transition strips. The lvp is separating, bowing up, popping up in some spots and was not staggered correctly.Two doors installed do not shut. Some trim work not done correctly. The repairs on the walls are not done and paint on the walls are not done. The flooring has to be removed, floor leveled, moisture barrier laid and then the lvp reinstalled. The doors must be fixed to close properly. They removed the door casing inside the closets but did not replace the casing so there is a gap from the ************** frame. They did not lay tile in the hall bathroom. They told me 3 times that it was going to get done. The 1st no one showed, 2nd time they sat outside for 2 hours & said they would come the next morning but never did. The 3rd time a guy showed but didn't come back as they didn't give him the tile for the job. Left trash in my backyard over a month. I paid someone else to remove.Last time work was done was July 30th and today is Sept 26th. No further work or repairs have been made. Owner keeps giving me the run around.

  He has now told me 4 times that the bathroom was going to be tiled and now 4 times no one has showed to do the job. He's leading me on and will NOT fix any of the repairs.

  It's now been 9 weeks going on 10 weeks since any work has been done. 

  I moved here with the **** REMOTE program and still have not been able to fully unpack my house as I'm still living out of boxes and getting the run around from **** *****. This is no way to treat anyone. I've let the people with the ****A REMOTE program of the issue as well.

  Attached is the estimate for the project. 

  Attached is also the list of damages done by his painters. 

  He also left all the trash in my back yard for over a month which his project manager came one a week and picked up a truck load. He never did finish picking up the trash that sat my backyard so I finally had to pay someone else to remove the trash. 

  The also removed the tile in the entryway which was not supposed to be removed! So, we compromised and instead of finding similar tile and redoing the entryway we agreed to redo the tile in the hall bathroom which is a smaller space. I have not had an operable hall bath for over three months as they have not done the tile in the bathroom and the toilet they left sitting in the tub! 

  I'm still living out of boxes and cannot move forward with anything until the flooring is fixed. I've been living like this since June 30th. He was paid June 14th and was supposed to start the project and get it mostly done before i moved out here! Now it's OCT 4th!

  Hey, this is **** ***** the Owner of A Brush Above painting and I wanted to respond to the complaint by ******* ******. A Brush Above painting was hired by ******* to do flooring, sheetrock repair, install doors and trim along with paint of ceilings, walls doors and trim in all areas but the bathrooms. We have definitely done a poor job on coordination, timing and quality. As we are working through some labor issues, we are getting work done at a slow pace but we will definitely finish fixing everything and stand behind our work. Only A Brush Above has been contracted and hired to work at this residence. Please remove the Business name Unique Renovations Kitchen and Bathroom remodeling from complaint .
