    In July, I contacted **** to inquire about beginning personal training sessions with her. She recommended I do two days of training a week at $75 a session for 8 sessions totaling $600. I had my first training session on July 23rd. I was out of town for July 25th and July 30th. On July 31st, I contacted **** to let her know that due to work commitments in the month of August, I did not have time to continue training at this time. She indicated that this was okay and to let her know if/when I wanted to continue training. Following the month of August, on September 5th, I contacted **** requesting a refund due to cancelling the remainder of my sessions. **** indicated she was out of town and would contact me when she returned. I never received a follow-up message, so on October 8th I reached out to **** again about a refund. She did not respond, and so I sent a follow-up text on October 10th. **** responded and said she does not normally offer refunds this far after the initial payment, but that she would be willing to refund $300. I requested that she make an exception since I only attended one session, and I informed her of my time off a week after my initial session and had been trying to contact her regarding a refund for over a month. She said that she would be unable to offer a full refund, but again offered a partial refund. I told her that I expected a refund for $525 because I had only received one training session from her and had been consistently communicating with her regarding this issue. Again, she refused reimbursement. I told her I would be pursuing legal action and have not heard from her since.
