I took my F150 here because my transmission was slipping. I ended up paying them to rebuild my transmission. After receiving my truck back I noticed a fluid leak coming from the bottom of my truck. This was never the case because my truck is always parked in the garage and never had any leaks prior to taking it there. I took it back and they said it was my timing chain cover that was leaking. I trusted them and paid them to get that replaced as well as the timing chain and phasers. I am all in over 7 grand at this point. I receive my truck back and it was still leaking from the same place. Over the course of months I took my truck back for them to fix the issue. During this time they were negligent and did not assemble my truck back together properly numerous times causing a breakdown on the highway, smoke coming from the engine bay, and additional leaks to start. The manager ****** *****, acknowledged their mistakes, apologized and called it poor workmanship. He still offered no compensation for my total of over 300$ worth of Ubers going back and forth dropping off my truck and being without a vehicle. The last time I picked my truck up from there it was leaking from multiple places and ****** told me to take it to another shop. They did not want to fix the issues they caused. I took it to the dealer and they confirmed that Ammcos scope of work areas caused additional damage to my vehicle to the tune of 6,000$.

We regret that our customer is not happy with our service but we feel we have gone above and beyond to assist them.

A refund is not warranted and will not be granted. If there are any more issues with our work we completed we will take care of it under the warranty but we are no longer going to fix other issues at no cost to the customer.

      Blessings,

I am rejecting this response because:   Please see attached **** receipts. The professional negligence was more extensive then the dates Aamco provided. As stated previously, the truck did not have any leaks prior to Aamco's work. The truck was not leaking oil or coolant. After their work, the truck was leaking both fluids. On multiple occasions, Aamco called me and told me my truck was ready only for me to get there and items were not hooked up properly. This would cause the truck to not perform to a normal standard. I would immediately turn around and they would have a tech come out and reattach items that were not reinstalled correctly after their work. In Aamco's response, they imply that just because the truck has ******* miles that all of this should happen after their work. The truck has always been maintained and was a great truck prior to their work. Aamco also mentioned that the truck has ***** miles added to it during the 11 months of professional negligence. The average american drives ****** miles per year which I typically match on a yearly basis without a situation like this. I was left without a vehicle for multiple months during the 11 month period because Aamco stated they simply could not get to fixing their mistakes. I would not be able to drive my vehicle while I waited weeks for their techs to get back from vacation. Aamco did not go above and beyond to fix these issues, they simply threw their hands in the air and said your problem. This situation has cost my family and I thousands and I believe some sort of reimbursement is due.

I just responded to this complaint but I left out a few more details. I originally went to aamco because my transmission was slipping. This was the only thing wrong with my truck at the time. When I received it back from aamco the truck had an oil leak. When I took it back to aamco they said it was the timing chain cover leaking. I approved this 3300$ worth of work to fix the oil leak. I also had them do preventative maintenance such as replacing the timing chain and phasers since they would already have those parts exposed. This was an expensive fix but goes to show how I maintain my vehicle. The truck still has an oil leak. **** ****** **** stated that the oil leak appeared to have been happening for some time which aligns with aamcos timeline of work on this vehicle. **** ****** **** also stated that the oil leak is coming from Aamcos scope of work area. This leads me to believe that either the oil leak was caused by poor workmanship or Aamco misdiagnosed the oil leak I paid 3300$ to fix.

Lastly, I included **** receipts in my response. This does not include the times my truck was towed to their shop to fix items they just replaced.
