On Monday, Feb ******, I took my dog to Sheridan Road Veterinary Clinic to have his right leg looked at. There were no wounds. He was limping so they put a splint on and told me to come back in a week. I took him back, they changed his wrap. When leaving, the lady at the front desk told me there was a fee. I had phoned them earlier to make sure if was or was not a fee for a follow up.I was told to bring him in before 4pm. I asked the lady if I could wrap it myself at home in the future. She did not recommend it. During this little dispute, a woman (an assistant or vet) came out from the back and said "Dont bring him back when is foot is left dangling."At first it shocked me then of course upset me. She had no right to talk to someone like that at a veterinary. It was not called for, and very unprofessional. I left then I went back to get the person&#**;s name. All they would tell me is *********. They would not give me a last name. On Fb 17, 2025 (Mon) I received a message saying I owe $50. While the splint they put on him has broke and I cant find one to buy. So my dog is in the same or worse situation than when I took him there. They will not replace it. I am not disputing the fee, but they should not be in business. That is abuse and neglect. Now, his foot is dangling and they left him that way.
