    Window World of Tulsa sold my mother a full set of windows for our house with a lifetime warranty. When the windows broke and needed to be replaced Window World reneged on the warranty and said we have to pay for repairs and replacements.

    To whom it may concern,

    Thank you for reaching out regarding complaint #********. We provide a lifetime, transferrable warranty on all manufacturing defects. Please see attached warranty information. We were contacted on 12/18/24 to submit a warranty claim. The client stated that his house had a crack in the foundation upon purchasing, and the foundation work shifted his house resulting in the windows not operating properly. After receiving information to locate the account, it was clear that the home had been sold and the warranty was not transferred. At this point we were well past the 30-day transfer period. The client was reassured that even with a warranty active, it would not have covered this issue, as the house shifting is not a defect to the window.Although this would not be covered under the warranty, we offered to send a quote for the work to be done, along with a competitor contact to compare prices. Please see the attached contract. Other attachments include all correspondence other than the initial phone call.

    We pride ourselves on our lifetime, transferrable warranty and see it as a great benefit for all of our clients. We will continue to provide excellent service for clients both with and without an active warranty in any way we can!
