  We dropped off a 1000 lb cow to be butchered. And only got 258 lbs. even the ribs - only got 6 sm ribs from a huge animal. I also asked for the tongue and they gave us the head saying it was still attached. It was not attached- I had been cut out. I only got 1/4 of the weight in meat. They are stealing weight from customers.

  April 24, 2023 ********************************* brought in a 414#live/ 258#hanging beef (we call this a roping steer) very small body animal. We did a **** hang, cut it up, froze, and then called her. She comes in, gets taken care of, gets loaded out, and comes back in and says "that was a ****# beef" No mam, that beef hanging weighed 258#, i said "did you drop the beef off?" she said "no, but last week i saw the beef" I said "we have cameras for this reason"  It was NOT ****# beef. She knows it as well as I do! She wanted the stomach, inspection says we can not save the stomach for anyone.  She wanted the hooves, we saved the hooves. She wanted the head, we saved the head,  and left the tongue in. She wanted liver, tongue, heart and oxtail, it was all given to her.

  Also, she didn't get 258# back, that's what the beef was hanging. So right there explains a lot.  She probably received 50-60% of that. You can tell by the head it was not ****# beef.  It would not benefit ** because we do not sell meat and we raise our own beef, I personally would not eat this beef, its 258#, that tells you a lot. We get our beef to around ****# live and they hang up at 600#.

  I am rejecting this response because:

  This response is untruthful by the business. I spoke to the receptionist, the butcher and another lady at the reception area. I was there with my dad - who had dropped off the cow.

  I was told that I would be sent a video confirming proof of the size of the cow- which was NEVER sent.

  We had to go back and get the cow head when I inquired about the tongue The butcher lied said the cow tongue was attached. But in fact, it had been cut out. I complained about it to the receptionist and received no call back. I only received about 6 short ribs. And no briskets. There was so much meat missing. 
  if you are able to retrieve phone records and obtain conversations to prove this. 

  Also as you can see in other reviewers, I am not the only customer who has been ripped off by this company

  I do not understand how they have not been under investigation sooner
