Had a contract with him to build a 2 story tiny home. We went and visited him and had an in person meeting first. Months of delays culminated with him sending out a crew that put up 3/4 of the framing then disappeared. Unfortunately they didn’t appear to have much framing experience and it was dangerously bad. After not hearing from him for months and the framing having gone through multiple storms we decided to tear it down. We are out of our $10k down payment and lost over 8 months of time. I didn’t even want to leave a complaint because he’s such a nice guy in person, but he refuses to answer our calls or texts. Our main issue is we just want to be done with him but he left a trailer with random lumber in it and refuses to respond when we ask him to get it. It’s in the way and we just want it gone. So frustrating.

We will pick up the trailer by the end of the month. Let it be known that the rough framing was put up a week before Christmas, by the time the weather was good enough for us to travel to the location the customer already had another company building on the concrete pad we had installed. There was no communication from the customer on this matter.

On 7/16 entered into a contract for a single story 1840 building in the dry with a completion date of 8/20. This was supposed to be completed on one visit but Mr. ****** kept leaving to work on other jobs. I notified ******* of poor workmanship that was done to the foundation, not square and many joist were intalled improperly which would of affected the structural integrity. He never corrected and tried to conceal due to the fact he tried to install the subfloor and erected the walls. Was also promised multiple times through correspondence that he would not leave until our building was completed. 10/4 ******* left again and did not finish the job after being told only trusses, roof sheathing, fine framing of *************** were left. Upon inspection foundation was NOT fixed, subfloor was not finished and had large gaps, rough framing of doors and windows weren't down and siding was installed uneven and incorrectly voiding the warranty of many panels. Its important to note through out this process, I had to constantly reach out for a update vs being updated. We also found that most of the images of completed buildings on their website/ Spec. sheet are stolen from other websites. This is incredibly misleading and devious. We were in negotiations to try and resolve this when I ghosted after ******* ******* stated we would have a answer by 10/28. I'm attaching photos of some photos of the work they did and the " Fully standing building" quoted by ******* ******* they left us

On 7/16 we did enter into a contract with ******** *******, with no signed completion date, just a separate email stating the estimated completion date. Due to staffing issues we were unable to begin work on site as soon as anticipated, this was communicated with the customer. ******* arrived to set footers and left two employees there to work. After realizing they were not capable of completing the project we sent them home. We communicated this with ******** and had a plan in place to remedy the situation. The next time we were on site ******** stated that they needed the building up and dried in so they could use the building for storage. We agreed to get the walls up and the footings and subfloor would be addressed before the building was complete. ******** left for a weeks vacation so we went to handle other business. On 10/14 we got an email from ******** stating they wished to Dissolve the contract. We then asked them for a written statement of the issues they wanted addressed and they refused, stating they did not have to since we breached the contract(which we have not according to our legal advice). I have attached said contract please review section 18. Remedies. After this we attempted to reach a Settlement with ******** agreeing to pay for material and a portion of the labor. This is still in the negotiation process. The documents and conversations between the two parties were sent to a lawyer for review after we were asked to sign a Lien Release Agreement(there is no lien on the property). The images we use on our website are public domain and an example of what we do. ******** did not request a two story building which is what we adverstise. We contracted a custom single story building for ******** for which pictures or example pictures were never shared. We are sending a revised agreement to ******** this afternoon in hopes we can remedy the situation.

    Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, I understand the need for them to defend themselves, however my facts and evidence back up everything I wrote in my complaint. Only because I wish to put this whole ordeal behind and have received an offer will I accept to close out my complaint and accept their resolution.

    Sincerely,

    ******** *******

******** ******* was unwilling to allow us to address any of her complaints and fix the issues. We were in the process of fixing previous issues and were not allowed to complete the building. Due to her unwillingness to waiver and compromise. We have signed a settlement agreement with her to allow her enough funds for the material to finish the project on her own.

    Better Business Bureau:

According to the Settlement Release Agreement signed November 1st, that ******* and ******* created, no details or facts surrounding this case where to be discussed after signing.
In your November 4 response to the BBB instead of simply responding that we reached an agreement you violated your own terms and conditions and continue to dispute your case.
I have indeed compromised as you have a signed Settlement Release Agreement in your possession.
In the Release portion of the agreement it is also stated you would send the Settlement Release Agreement to the BBB, this still has not been done.
