      August 27th, 2023 our ** system stopped working. When we notified the office they informed us that they didnt have a window unit to give us so we had to find our own. Since that day, we have not received any updates on when it would be fixed. There has been several 100+ degree summer days, me and my three small children endured. We were told that it was our fault that the ** broke because we had the thermostat set to low, but when its 100+ degrees out and I have a golf ball sized hole in my front door threshold and little to no sealant on my windows, I dont have much choice. A woman in the office told us You got air. It just aint blowin how cold you want it.. We have sent in a maintenance ticket on the tenant portal, per the lease, called the office several times, and even had face to face conversations with the apartment manager, still with no resolution. It is now January 5th, **** and we still dont have working **. Whenever someone in a surrounding unit smokes a cigarette or cooks, we can smell it clear as day in our apartment with no way of circulating it out. Every time we smell cigarettes my children start coughing and have trouble catching their breath. Per the lease we can not ***** rent in half or whole, and we are not able to pay for it to be fixed and take it out of the rent. Were just looking for livable and comfortable conditions to live in. We do pay to live here after all.

      They don't care about their tenants. They don't keep the dog park clean. My dog got ringworm from their dog park. They allow their tenants to let the dogs run loose off leash and attack my dogs who are on leash. They don't respond to maintenance requests. They charge prices that are outrageous for the living conditions. There is continuously roaches in my apartment even when they come and spray on the off chance that they actually do come. They only spray a small portion in the kitchen. They don't spray the entire apartment so therefore every apartment here almost has bugs. I paid for my own personal control and I was still charged $10 every month for their pest control. Who has it been here at over 3 months? This is a horrible place to live. There's slumlords and they don't care what their tenants have to go through as long as they get their money. Now I'm forced to buy my own air filters and I will be taking it out of the rent. I'm not going to continue to pay for stuff that they're supposed to pay for. These air filters are supposed to be changed monthly and they're never changed unless you request one and then it takes them five or six months to give you one. So I have no air filter and I've been breathing in all this dirty air and I'm having a hard time breathing. I will be going to the doctor for a diagnosis

      In the last 36 hours we've had 1 children's bicycle stolen and an attempted theft of 1 scooter she the actual theft of another scooter. Called office manager about the bike, as it was stolen prior to the scooter and all she said was that she would keep an eye out for it. She tried to convince me not to call the police regarding the theft. Later in the day, there was a little black boy who came to our building (he lives in the middle/ back of the complex) and grabbed my son's scooter while he came inside to use the restroom. Called the manager and she said she'd talk to him but that he probably wasn't trying to steal it. If not, then why did he grab it and try to take off on it as fast as he could until I came out and stopped him? After that, there were 2 children whom we had never seen before that were bullying my kids and their friends. Started throwing rocks at our kids/their friends because my son wouldn't give them his snacks. It was a black girl and a black boy. The girl then snatched my son's scooter from him, grabbed a large rock and threw it at my cats head. I called the police, but they were unable to find her. She was seen entering a unit neighboring the manager's apartment. When my fiance called yesterday he left a voice mail and requested a call back asap. After my receiving a call prior to 11am today, my fiance requested that I call. I do not live in the unit with my fiance and my kids due to personal reasons. The manager understands the situation and has never had any issues with me being the point of contact. When trying to explain the situation, she denied her neighbor having teens, claimed the teens do not live on the property and that due to that, she legally can't do anything about it. Although she threatened to evict my fiance over his neighbors guest who lied and claimed he was at my fiance's unit. The manager is black and so is everyone else involved EXCEPT my family and the neighbors friend. But he's allowed to hang out with the neighbor.

      So I have neighbors who stalk me and my sitter for the apartment they live in *** and ***. Also the people in *** have 10 kids who have shoved my 2 year old niece down the stairs and have punched, kicked holes in my storage door. Also they fight, scream, play blaring loud music til 1am and throw food while youre walking up to your apartment. ************** just lets it go doesnt do anything about it at all. Instead they show up at my door screaming at my sitter for dog pee that isnt even there because it gets cleaned up the sitter has a service dog that is with them at all times. Also the lady in *** lets her dogs p*** all over the apartment and walks away like it isnt hers I step in it a lot yet havent complained once about it and her dogs attacked my sitters service dog yet again she is coming at me for this c*** ************** hasnt done anything to help just add extra costs that shouldnt be on my rent Im only supposed to pay $905 a month. They have a ton of reviews saying the apartment is horrible because of a manager named ******.
