    Our vehicle broke down Dec 28,2022 near *******, ****** After many phonecalls trying to find a mechanic Shelbey from LC Diesel assured us he could help as Diesel mechanic is his specialty. We had the vehicle towed to his shop and he proceeded to check it out. After a few days we decided to rent a car and go south due to the length of time he thought it would take to get parts and install. ******* kept in touch via phonecalls and emails. According to his research and recommendations we needed to have the *** and **** replaced which we authorized him to do and paid him accordingly. On February 24, 2023 we picked up the truck and he assured us it was all fixed. We left his shop and drove approximately one hour when it quit just as we exited the I5 onto the I84 at *******, ******. we immediately texted ******* and he arranged a tow truck to get us to the nearest hotel.Waiting all weekend for help, we arranged for the truck to be towed to *********, ********** on Feb 28, 2023 to D*** *********************** where they found the "new" *** was a rebuilt aftermarket part and was faulty. Which ******* charged us new price for. We now have to pay $6200 for another new ***. ******* has not reimbursed us nor taken any responsibility for this despite several texts and phone calls. We paid him $7547.28 for basically nothing and now have to also pay D*** *********************** approximately $6200 for the same work to be done so we can get home!! We have attached the original invoice. We are waiting for the quote from d*** *********************** but I can forward when we get it.
