    My car has been held at the dealership service center for five weeks for a simple warranty repair. I am driving a borrowed and car and would like my car returned. The Hyundai warranty guarantees a repair within a "reasonable" time. Five weeks for this repair is not reasonable.

    The part for the client has been on back order for some time now. The dealership does not make these parts, we get them from the manufacturer. Unfortunately, we can not control the time in which a part arrives. This part is on order, we are just waiting for it to arrive.  Once it arrives, the fix takes about 30 minutes. We are sorry for the time it has taken for this part to arrive.

    I'm a disabled senior on a fixed income. My son PAID OFF the loan of my car last year to help me. I went to Hyundai of Albany dealer, **** Santiam SE, for multiple repairs covered under warranty. August 12, 2022 repair they spilled gasoline inside the interior of my vehicle. They claimed the gasoline smell would evaporate in a few hours. The gas smell didn't go away and I took my vehicle back to dealer who promised to clean it. Whatever chemical cocktail they applied 8/25-26/22 to remove the gas smell sent me to the hospital 8/30-9/3/22! Whenever I've tried to go inside my vehicle 'life threatening' symptoms reoccur. Because of the Dealer's mistake I'm STRANDED WITHOUT A VEHICLE! GM said they would get the smell taken out. Dealer didn't give me an invoice for 8/25/-26/22 which seemed that they were only trying to hide their mistake. I've been going through enormous and continuously escalating hardships directly caused by Dealer's blatant disregard for me and their unwillingness to resolve this issue. I've attached invoices, pictures, text messages, and dealer's email reply. Hyundai of Albany must be investigated for their carelessly dangerous and hazardous practices which occurred during the dealer's business operations. I reported incident to ****** **** of ****** and Poison Control. I contacted multiple attorneys who all claimed not having any knowledge or practice experience with 'Garage keepers Legal Liability' law. The circumstance of not having a car to drive has kept me from getting medical care for the prolonged physical agony that began and continues to persist as a result of chemicals that were applied inside my car. A possibility for my recovery can't be determined. It's likely I will die because of the dealer's careless mistake.

    We have attempted to satisfy the client on multiple occasions. There were no chemicals at all that were applied to the clients vehicle that could send anyone to the hospital. We have already sent all chemicals that we have on hand to the clients doctor. I reviewed all cleaning products with our vendor and we do not have any cleaning products that would cause someone to get sick. We did not apply chemicals on the clients seats. We detailed the vehicle multiple times providing the client with alternative transportation. Upon the first time cleaning the vehicle there was zero gasoline smell. The client was still not happy with the vehicle so we washed the vehicle again to satisfy the client. After multiple attempts to please the client. The client was still not satisfied, stating that she was getting sick from the interior of the car. We do not have any products that would effect someone like this especially for an extended period of time. I offered to trade the client out of the car but the offer was refused. We have went above and beyond to try and satisfy the client. At this point nothing else can be done. Also the client had their own product of some kind in the trunk, maybe its that product.
