    On 03/28/2023 I paid 995.00 for a one year long program for rat control. in July of 2023, the company went out of business. I was never informed of the closure. I did not get any prorated amount of that contract back. I cannot contact the business at all.

    I had a 1 year contract with EcoLife pest control for ant and rodents. I received a call that the contract period was expiring and a yearly renewal rate of $795 would be due at the next visit in May 2023. I gave the technician a check for $795 and received a receipt electronically. I have a copy of the cancelled check. Months passed without the company scheduling another visit. Because I had a lot going on at the time I did not notice until late October. When I called the phone had been disconnected. I looked online and found a message that the company was permanently closed. I received no service for the $795 and would expect a refund. I had no notice from the company that they were closing and no offer to refund the money paid in advance for routine service visits.

    In March of 2023, we paid Ecolife $995 for a year's worth of pest control on our property in Portland, Oregon. Specifically, we had a rat problem. After an initial visit, they were to make monthly visits to check the rat traps, rebait them as necessary, etc. These visits ceased in September. Attempts to contact Ecolife were futile. On November 6, we understood that they were out of business. We want a $500 refund.

    I contracted with EcoLife for 1 year service for baiting, checking and removal of rats. Monthly checking of traps was included in contract. I signed contract on 5/3/23. Traps were checked Jun, July , and August of 2023. Radio silence ever since- phone not in service and found on a secondary website that it was closed permanently. I received no notice of this and would like the rest of my money refunded.

    In July 2023 we signed a 1 year contract for pest control, they said that they would be out every month. I have only seen them come out once for pest control services and that was at the end of July 2023. Not very happy with the lack of service. Now I cannot reach them by phone.

    On July 19, 2023 we paid EcoLife $2,810.00 for a Five year extension for our Pest Control contract. This was to extend our coverage until July 21, 2028. The payment was for EcoLife to eliminate certain pests according to the program we chose, In this case, Home Defender MAX. They have been a great company for years, so I am not sure what happened. Since we paid them, a technician has been to our house once, on August 21st and we have not heard anything from them since. I tried calling them on October 20, 2023 and two of the three numbers are not working (1-855-432-6543 and 1-541-928-6397). The other was for the office gal, Rebecca H** ************** -it may be her personal phone so I did not leave a message, but I texted her asking for any information on the company. Their FB page says they are closed permanently about two weeks ago. I am not hopeful to get any of our money back, but would really love to find a way to get it refunded or at least a thread for me to follow up. If nothing else, to avoid them doing this to others.

    We've been using the same pest control company since 2013. We either paid with a card for a years service or sent them checks. This year on June 30th, July 14th & July 30th we sent them a total of $595 for our yearly contract. Upon reaching out them starting October 9th we have been unable to get ahold of anyone. Looking further into it it would appear they are "permanently closed". However they cashed all 3 checks, have not reached out to us to refund the money. We were unable to get any of our services that we paid for. Our last contract ended in June of 2023. Owners Names Tony H*** ************ Anthony H*** ************ I am being told they closed September 11th 2023 and told no one.

    I made an appointment with eco-life to treat a property I own at ***** * ******** *** ***** ** ***** for carpenter ants. An employee, James, came out on 7/24/23 and performed the first of what was suppose to be three treatments. I paid the total amount due, $409. at that time. Eco-life was suppose to return on 9/19/23 and again on 10/16/23 to finish the other two treatments. I made several calls to the Albany Or office (541-928-6397) when no one showed up for the second treatment. I left messages on their answering machine to please call me. No one ever returned my phone calls. It became obvious that eco-life was avoiding me. No one has ever contacted me. Eco-life owes me $272. To add insult to injury, I even tipped James $20, as it was an unusually hot day. Thank you.

    They took a year of service money and now won’t answer the phone. Obviously they took our renewal and knew they were closing.
