In July of 2022, I used Tecnu Extreme Poison ********* Scrub for poison ivy and it left a chemical burn. Later in August of 2022, I used it again unfortunately. It left another chemical burn and I concluded that the scrub was the culprit. This product had some adverse effects for some users on Amazon.com. One review (Shmebulah from 4/24/2020) even specified a chemical burn. I contacted Tec Labs in October 2022 and directed to the insurance agency that would handle the claim for product injuries. One burn area left a scar but the other one is still healing from the third degree burn. It is absolutely not right. Almost a year later and still dealing with this situation. I will never buy a product from this company that does not take responsibility for its adverse effects of their products. The lack of accountability is predictable.

I am rejecting this response because it lacks a thorough investigation. I found numerous complaints on Amazon regarding burn & specifically chemical burn injuries. I found the response despicable and disgusting. What ever happened to "the customer is always right?" Definitely not at Tec Labs. I am sorry that I purchased the product.

A colleague provided advice to proceed with a class action suit. There are a number of customers that had alleged burn injuries on Amazon. I could always reach out to all of them. However, I am disgusted with this company. I have had more than enough.

I also would have accepted two ***************, to compensate for my doctor visits & lab work of $500. That will never happen. Second, I also would have accepted no compensation with an acknowledgement that the scrub possibly could have burnt the skin. The lack of accountability and responsibility is appalling. I find that testing the product shows a lack of intelligence. One could test acid in the lab with no abnormalities, Moreover, acid will burn skin, too. The product should have been tested on a few samples of HUMAN skin. I guess intelligence is not in the works with this company. How do you also explain the customers on Amazon that had burn injuries? That was NEVER addressed at all. Of course, that was not investigated. What a disgusting company.

     Sincerely,

On October 8, 2022, I purchased Technu Rash Relief Spray on Amazon for $11.79. It did not work. ********* has a Money Back Guarantee, so on November 21, 2022 I contacted them for a refund. I was not able to send back the spray, but I sent a copy of my Amazon invoice, per their request. They said they sent a check to my address. I did not receive it. They said they would check with their bank. I did not receive the check. They asked me if the address they had for me was correct: it was. That was the last communication I have received from them, despite my having sent two more requests for the check; they appear to not be answering me anymore. This is probably an oversight, as they have been very nice thus far. So, I'm not really complaining, I just want my money back, as per their guarantee, and I cannot get their attention on my own.
