    Jan. 30, 2024 I took a pair of shoes to ******* ******** (Albany Shoe Repair) for repair and paid him $30.00 up front as required. Four months later I inquired about the shoes. He said he was moving to *************, ****** and would repair my shoes there and mail them back to me. I have not yet received the shoes or any communication from Mr. ********* I have no way to contact him but would like my shoes back.

    Left one pair *********************** boots at Albany Shoe Repair ***************************************. owned by ******************************* - ************ for six months. He had many excuses for not fixing them although I paid a fee of $50. per his request on Dec 23. On my 5th trip to pick up my boots , he was gone with about 100 pairs of other peoples shoes! Sign on door said he moved to ************* to ****** Boots. ************. *************************************************. Both numbers hang up on me when I try to call. Hes on ********* I will join a class action lawsuit if necessary. I just want to know where my boots are & returned!!!

    I have had shoes repaired with this location previously and it went fine. I dropped off multiple pairs of shoes early in January and after a few weeks I hadn't heard anything, his phone was not in service. I stopped in and he notified me that he was the "only cobbler for 3 counties," I understand he was busy and I left the shoes and figured I'll come back in a couple weeks. He said his phone was down previously but was currently working.2 weeks later I still had not heard anything, again I was unable to reach him via phone. I stopped by with the intention to obtain my shoes and take them elsewhere; not by any fault of his but I needed them completed. (5 weeks after initial drop off date) I entered the shop and let him know I wished for my shoes back, he walked up to me within one foot of my face and raised his voice and repeated, "No refunds, I'm the only cobbler for 3 counties." He refused to give me a refund, and I felt extremely uncomfortable with an individual one foot from me and raising their voice to me belligerently, it was unprofessional and frightening as a young female to have a grown man in your face raising his voice. I understand him being behind, but had I been notified that when I dropped the shoes off I would have gone elsewhere and not given away my money for a deposit.Of note, his drop off receipt says they are not responsible for items left over 30 days, I do not see how he will not refund me as he did not get the job done within 30 days.Also, on his slips it states that he will not be responsible for items left over 30 days. As he would not answer the phone I had to way to ensure this wouldn't happen. It is astonishing that he would not refund me for his inability to complete the service in a reasonable time frame.
