      We pay for insurance through our storage unit and we had an issue with damaged property in our unit due to rodents. We noticed that there was rodent droppings and our lazyboy recliner, Serta California king ******** and one of our foam egg crates were damaged due to rodent droppings, urine, and chew marks on all three. We then proceeded to contact the storage management and explained the situation. We then took photos and sent them to the storage management and the insurance company. The insurance company then requested that we needed to have a meeting with the storage manager and have him inspect the damage. He was not available to meet with us and instead had his maitience worker meet with us. He then took photos and stated that there were "rat" dropping and stated that we had a claim. He then sent the photos to the manager ***********************. This was on May 3rd 2024. I then received a email from the insurance company on may 31st 2024 stating that there was no presence of rodent droppings. Today June 1st 2024 I then called *********************** to try and rectify this mistreatment and he stated that the insurance company told him that there was no damage of rodent chew marks. He's obviously in cahoots with the insurance company and is lying. All we wanted was compensation for our damaged furniture or at least money to take the damaged items to the dump.
