      We paid ***** to the Eldorado Inn through a third-party booking website on June 7th for a stay the night of June 11th, 2023. When we arrived at 11pm, there was water dripping from the ceiling of our room and pooling on the floor, including soaking through the carpet. Attached images. There were no employees on staff at night (they had even called us to say they were hiding our keys under the mat which is wildly unsafe but not the main issue here) and all the phone numbers we had from prior communication led to dead lines. In the morning, the lobby was locked with no employees around. When we finally found someone and asked for a refund, they said they could upgrade us on our next stay which is not at all an acceptable solution, but that they don't have our credit card directly to do any refund because we booked third-party (which seems unlikely). They explained that a pipe had broken the day before and our room had been overlooked. They apologized and recognized the situation. Image attached of their response in an online review, confirming this. We then asked the third-party website for a refund, who asked the Eldorado Inn to confirm our claim. Eldorado Inn then LIED and told the third-party booking website there was no evidence of water in our room. This dishonest business practice is unacceptable and reprehensible. The Eldorado Inn needs to correct their statement made to the third-party website in order to match what they have publicly and privately said to us and what is the truth, so that we can be refunded. Alternatively, if they would like to continue to lie, they could mail us a check directly.

      I was threatened of bodily harm by general manager (I have video of threats from general manager if you would like to have them ). The hotel was extremely dirty, appears like it hasnt been cleaned in years, general manager has other reviews from guests of being verbally abusing other guests. I did do a review and general manager had her partner pretend to be a guest at hotel and bash me even more on review (I have proof its her boyfriend/partner if you need). I would have left the establishment but I wasnt able to find a hotel on such short notice. This establishment needs to be shut down.
