We would like to lodge a formal complaint against Clean Air Act, ***** HV** contractor in ***********, ******, for their incompetence, unprofessionalism, lack of service, and most egregiously, fraudulent claims of service that they never provided. As a result of their business practices, we have been without proper air conditioning for over a month. We have ******************************* and every time an appliance breaks, we have to file a claim with AHS to get repairs. Over a month ago, our air conditioner started to underperform, so we filed a claim with AHS, and they assigned the case to Clean Air Act, ***** who sent out a technician, *****, who did NOT measure the freon level, but simply visually inspected the system and told us that nothing's wrong; and when weather's hot, it could affect the performance, disregarding our claim that the ** had performed just fine for 8 years since we owned the house, and that only recently we've noticed the decline. ***** then complained about our Nest thermostat, which we installed as a part of smart energy program by PGE. When the ** once again failed to cool our bedroom overnight, we called AHS for a "recall service," and this time ***** from Clean Air Act came, who seemed more thorough, and examined a few things, but once again complained about the dual-zone setup (that same way since we purchased the house 8 years ago, and had never been an issue), the Nest thermostat, and claimed he could find nothing wrong. Then most recently, the ** compressor failed completely - fan not moving, and we tried to have AHS issue another recall, but Clean Air Act claimed to AHS, FRUADULENTLY, that they had come out 5 times, and there's "nothing wrong," again, blaming the dual-zones as the problem. It's clear that Clean Air Act makes false claims re services provided, possibly to receive extra payments from AHS, and fails to deliver actual service to end users. Consumers will do well to be warned about Clean Air Act, ****
