We went to Doc Auto repair shop as our ************* unit was not running properly. On July 28th we left the shop after a $1685 air conditioning repair, a few hours after driving the same day we noticed some issues.I texted him on the same day we left the same and noticed the issues, and he responded on July 29th and told us to give you a call.I called back with no response. On August 25th I took the a school sports team to trip and noticed all kinds of issues, which put us in a really tough position on a hot weekend with lots of students.I texted on August 25th that AC is turning off on hills, and the defrost heat was kicking as before and assumed he would fix the issue and/or see what went wrong on ************.Im unsure if it was misdiagnosed, or if new parts failed, or if it was just a bad repair. What I received as a text response was surprising, disappointing and frustrating "*****, I dont feel that you are a good fit for my shop. I am going to pass on any further work on your van. Good Luck.Since then I have texted and called many times, with no response.I have tried sending a certified letter hoping he would looking over his work, or if he could check the new parts he bought, or if we could make some deal.I tried to reach him through the ****** *** Consumer complaint with no response.I finally filed for small claims court, and he pushed up to Jury court which required a lawyer and was getting too expensive, so that fell apart.I would still be happy to come to some kind of arrangement, I have been hoping for many months.

I decided not  to go to court.   After talking to a lawyer who said winning this case was likely but would cost a lot(paying for a lawyer) as proceeding without a lawyer would be really hard to do without one.  The costs of a the lawyer  was higher, so I am hoping I can warn others against expensive repairs that if they go wrong, he might drop you like he did me.
