    In late August/early September of this year, we hired 5 Brother Concrete to build a driveway extension. In ****** the law states; whoever is doing the work has the responsibility of getting the property permits. After 5 Brothers Concrete completed the work on our driveway, a code inspection from the city came to our house and we found out not only did 5 Brothers Concrete not get any permits or approvals but their work also didnt meet code. We contacted 5 Brothers Concrete about this and they said (even though they shouldnt have done the work in the first place) that they wont give us a refund but they will come and remove their work so they wont get fined by the city. They gave us two dates that they would come and remove it, they never showed up, we called and they didnt answer, we called again the following Monday and no answer, then we called one of their other numbers and finally they picked up, they said they forgot about a holiday and will get around to it at some point. This is unacceptable not only should they remove their work but they should refund us for negligently installing concrete that they didnt have a permit for and doesnt meet city code. We hired them because they are supposed to be experts in their field and they should know what permits they have to get and what the codes are, thats why people hire contractors because contractors should know the laws related to their work. We are very disappointed and 5 Brothers Concrete will eventually get fined by the city if they dont remove the concrete they put in.

    This is **** with 5 brothers concrete. I apologize for the delay in  response but I have not seen any mail for this issue!
    I am reaching out to let you know there is no issue with this house and that everything has been resolved. We have already removed all the concrete and the homeowner (****** Kuogi) has reached out to me yesterday and said they- Do not wish us to put the wall back up or pour a walkway back as they will plant other things there and sell the house. ****** told me we do not need to come back for this reason. Pls let me know if there is anything else I need to do to close this case and get it off my record.
