    Purchased hearing aids on 09.03.2024, from Miracle-Ear in ****************, with a maximum return date of 10.03.2024. On the afternoon, 09.30.24 I made an appointment for 10.03.24 for the purpose of returning the hearing aids. The morning of 10.03.24 *** *******, the point of contact, made an adjustment to the aids and I agreed to try them. At 4:18 on 10.03.24 I called to return the aids only to discover that *** decided to return home early, and was not available that afternoon to accept my return. The ******************* refuses to honor my attempt to rescind this agreement within the posted days and hours.

    Thank you for your feedback regarding your hearing aids. We understand your concern about returning the devices, but as outlined in our return policy, the return window has unfortunately passed.


    Its important to note that hearing healthcare is not a one-time fix but an ongoing treatment. Like any medical therapy, hearing aids require time for the brain's auditory cortex to adapt and 'relearn' how to hear. This process can take months, not just days, as hearing aids act as a 'tool' to assist with this adjustment. Many studies from ************************* highlights that, on average, it can take several months for the auditory system to adapt to new sound input, and benefits are often seen gradually over time.


    We also noted the patient's past experiences with hearing aids, where they mentioned persistent issues with other providers and then ended up returning devices. This can sometimes occur due to improper fitting or insufficient time for the brain to adjust. We would be happy to offer ongoing support to help you optimize your hearing aid experience.
