    On Feb. 11, 2023, we contracted with ******* (the owner of Madden Photography) to have a photo session with our toddler for her third birthday. We paid $175 ($50 deposit on 1/26, $125 on 2/12) using Venmo for both transactions. We conducted the photo session with no problems and ******* said she'd get back to us in a couple of weeks with a link to the pictures themselves.It is now 6/16, over four months later, and we still do not have the pictures.We have repeatedly attempted to contact *******. She has responded twice: once (about a month after the shoot) saying that she'd sent a link to the pictures, but she might have made a mistake in the email address and would take another look (after which she was unresponsive); and once about three months after the shoot (only after we made public posts on a ************** saying that we had not been able to get in contact) saying that she would get back to us "at the end of the weekend". We have not heard anything since these contacts, and our repeated attempts to contact via phone, email, and ******** Messenger have resulted in no other response whatsoever.Note that we had previously used Madden Photography for a similar photo set six months before. While the photos were delayed for that shoot as well, they were received about a month later and we were satisfied with them.At the end of the day we just want the pictures that we contracted for - our toddler is no longer 3 (she's almost 3 and a half now!) and that's a moment we can never get back or redo pictures for. If we are unable to get a resolution, our next step is small claims court which we would much prefer to avoid.
