my daughter was enrolled in guidepost Montessori, which after about 4 months of research is through higher ground education. I disenrolled my daughter ******** via phone in July, they had my $1385 deposit held. I asked about getting my deposit returned. I gave them 30 days notice and paid through august despite her not being there because of my daughters special needs they weren't meeting and there high turnover. They then tried to bill me in September. I called them and they said they would get this retroactively fixed, and when asking for my deposit back was told "were working on it, it takes a few weeks". fast forward to current date, I have not received my deposit and the corporation will not answer my calls, and on top of that they sent me to collections for the month of September. even the credit agency who I've started the dispute process with thinks this is ridiculous and I've been treated unfairly. Everyone I talk to at the school itself does not know what I'm talking about because its always someone new. I would sincerely appreciate your help in this matter, because I feel that I've been treated severely unfairly.

I took a tour of this facility when I was trying to find a good daycare for my 2 year old autistic son. After talking with my husband we decided to give it a shot since we couldnt really find exactly what we were looking for and we needed to find something soon due to my going back into the office. So we made the deposit to secure him a spot in December, this happened in October. A deposit of $2,600. Almost a week later we got some devastating news that rocked our family, a close family member passed away. After having a family meeting we decided we would go out to them to help out for as long as it takes. Essentially we were going to be moving out of state for the foreseeable future. I contacted Guidepost and asked about getting my money back since we would not be enrolling our son at all anywhere at this point to which I was not given that option. Just that I could enroll him elsewhere in the country or at a later date. If it wasnt for the fact that we need that money to move and we dont think we will be enrolling him at least for the next year or so I might have said okay but those are our circumstances now and it doesnt make sense why we wouldnt get a a refund after everything I informed them of.
