The transaction occurred in September 2024. I paid this business $3,000 to fix my transmission. I had to bring the car in from ***** to ********* (over 50 miles apart) four different times within 2 weeks for my transmission to work correctly. I took my car back repeatedly and each time the transmission continued to have problems. After the second time, I had taken my car in for an oil change and was informed that the car was leaking transmission fluid, which was right after I had gotten the car back from the mechanic.Presently, my transmission is now having problems again only 6-7 months later. I brought my car back to this mechanic yesterday. My car is having the exact same issues it was having in September, the transmission is slipping and the car isnt safe to drive. The mechanic informed me today that the car is running beautifully. I asked him if he had looked at the transmission and he ignored my question. I asked him if he checked the transmission fluid and he didnt answer that either. He is denying anything is wrong with the vehicle.

Daytona transmission rebuilt the transmission in my 2008 GMC ************* near the beginning of 2024. We drove the truck home and drove it lightly for roughly 2 months only put less than 1000 miles on the truck when it began experiencing shifting issues. I contacted the company and informed them of the problem. I was told by ****** to give him some time to make room then he would let me know when we could bring the truck back. I didn't hear from him and we needed to perform another repair. We replaced the oil pump and in the process the radiator got damaged and we replaced the radiator. When removing the old radiator the transmission fluid was a light colored pink similar to Pepto Bismol, I called and talked to ****** again informing him of the issue with the color and what fluid we need to use to replace the fluid. The transmission kept getting worse, we took the truck back to them for diagnosis and warranty repair with a must have back by date. They kept the truck for over a month and a half, smoked in the truck, left cigar butts, ash and burned matches in the truck, it smelled bad inside of the truck. The truck had to be towed home since it wouldn't shift correctly. I purchased parts to verify the transmission cooler wasn't leaking into the radiator which is what the shop was telling me. The radiator/transmission cooler held 75lbs of pressure for 3 days with the transmission disconnected. We changed the fluid both times we drove the truck before it failed completely. The parts to verify the trans cooler was still sealed was installed and 30lbs of pressure was verified for a week before the truck was towed back to ********* from *********** in October to the transmission where the truck has been ever since. I have called to inquire about when it would be repaired and have gotten the story they are getting close and need a little more time and they will call me back. I have tried to work with them to get the truck repaired correctly with no results.
