    So I purchased some products from thuren fabrication for my truck wasnt sure about one the products so I called to make sure I ordered right part guy I spoke too said was busy couldnt look at what I ordered at the moment to email them instead so I did by the time they replied to my email they had shipped what I had ordered so then I get stuck having to ship back product at my expense which was 70 and now they wont refund what I was charged 360 only returned 300 so I emailed them asking why didnt get full refund said I had to pay for the shipping of the product since I returned it which I dont get when it said free shipping

    On April 18th, 2024, I had $5,966 worth of Thuren Fabrication parts installed on my 2021 RAM 2500 at a shop authorized by Thuren fabrication. The Thuren website does not include any warnings that the use of their products may cause damage to the rear drive shaft, nor did they advise the shop to check the clearance of the rear driveshaft with the crossmember after installation. I am a nurse and a veteran, not a mechanic and have to rely on a company to safely manufacture products for use on my vehicle and to also provide sound advice to the shop they have authorized to install their parts. Recently, while my truck was in for service, a dealership in ********, ******* discovered damage to my rear driveshaft that requires replacement. The dealership said that the damage was caused by the rear driveshaft contacting the crossmember due to decreased clearance from installing Thuren products which resulted in an inability for the suspension to safely cycle without causing this contact. I am now going to be out $1451 for replacement of my rear driveshaft. Thuren has been rude and uncooperative and has offered not even an apology, let alone any advice or financial recompense. Additionally, my truck is going to require that I spend a large amount of money on more parts and labor to either revert to stock suspension or purchase more additional parts (from another company) and pay for more labor to make the truck safe for operation. I have images available to provide in further communication, they are not on the computer I am currently using to file this complaint. Thank you for your time.

    This complaint has been resolved independently with the business. I would like to formally resolve this matter as Thuren has been helpful with a response. Hopefully this is sufficient for in writing. If not, please let me know where to send handwritten correspondence.

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. Don ******************** went out of his way to resolve this before any intervention was needed from the BBB. This was filed before we worked out the solution independently.
