    Host Industries advertises a 3 year structural warranty on their recreation vehicles. I purchased my RV June 28, 2023. The fiberglass front nose development cracks in the gel coat. I researched this online and found it is a common problem with fiberglass in rvs but needs to be repaired to prevent water intrusion. I then contacted the warranty department at Host, sent photos of area with cracks. Their response was that they hadnt seen never seen this before and that something must have hit it to cause this damage. They requested additional photos, I sent them additional photos nothing hit this area the photos document no evidence of anything striking the area where the cracks are located. They then also said the camper/rv was out of warranty which is incorrect I purchased it June 28, 2023 the 3 year warranty does not expire until June 28, 2026. I researched this company on line and found that their policy is to deny warranty claims and blame the issues on the owner. Host rv reviews on the website rv insiders listed several owners that have experienced the same response from this company. Their warranty rating on the site with a small pull of participants as this is a small company was 2.8 out of 5.

    I am rejecting this response because:  this company is just being greedy and not taking responsibility for a clear defect in the fiberglass they produce it does not matter if they have not seen it before , they have now and should do what  us is right a pay to have it repaired like any reputable manufacturer would do rather than deny responsibility for their failed product.  There is no evidence that anything struck this area causing these cracks as they suggest if that would have happened there would be a hole or other type of impact damage in the area .  It clear by the pictures this is not the case these cracks are results of a poor manufacturing process which they dont want to take responsibility for.  Very unprofessional.
