    I purchased this item on 1/29/2023. The item's quality was terrible and nothing which was depicted on their website. Same quality as thin foam mat with a large price tag associated. I attempted to return but was told the return price would be the same price as the item $100.

    In response to your complaint, firstly we do apologize you are not satisfied with our product. We are a small, family run operation that has been in business for 21 years without incident. You are our first complaint with the BBB. The product on our website is exactly what you received. We have thousands of satisfied customers and baby proofers that have ordered our products and have appreciated what the product has provided for them. What is most important to us, is the countless children we have protected over the past 21 years. We absolutely understand the frustration over costs, HOWEVER, what needs to be kept in mind is the expenses associated with getting this product to you, (rent/utilities/taxes/shipping/supplies/material/insurance/wages, etc.) which have all gone up substantially in the past few years. Shipping has become an astronomical expense for us due to the size of our product. 
    We hope this helps you understand the product and business a little better.

    I am rejecting this response because: I have found several other negative reviews and feel that the company should admit their poor quality of product.  Below is just one that I found.  I do appreciate a refund but am sad that it had to come to a complain to the BBB to get this.  I understand shipping is expensive but the rebuttal I was given seemed to be full of excuses rather than owning up to their product quality. I hope this better informs future buyers of the product quality.  See below for one review on another site I found about this product.
