We bought a 2024 **** Escape. At two months old and 699 miles the vehicle shutdown on the highway leaving us stranded. It was towed to Kendall ****. Service **** said they would get to it when they could. We couldnt be without a vehicle for an unknown amount of time. We sold it back to the dealership at an $11,000 loss. They turned around and are trying to sell it for more than we paid for it.

I towed my Explorer in for a simple problem. Kendall **** diagnosed it as a transmission issue and recommended a complete overhaul at the cost of $9,000. My **** Explorer is only worth $1,000. I had it retowed to a trusted small shop and they found out the brake light switch was out. Final price was $236. Kendall **** tried to rob me big time!I asked for my my $194 diagnosis fee back but they refused. It was a bad diagnosis! Too big to fail and they took advantage of me!

We brought in an escape for 3 recalls we had been holding out on. The service department predicted it would take all day so gave us a loaner. 4 business days later we were able to pick it up, they stated they were having difficulties reprograming it. Right away the *** port did not work anymore, and the second day the vehicle started stalling with a service engine immediately notice. We have had this vehicle for a long time with absolutely no problems. We alerted them right away, but they could not get it in for several weeks. The stalling happened a couple more times and as we were already thinking of a new car traded it in a couple days before the service appointment. The day we picked up the new car and traded in the **** my wife got a service reminder that included notice the appointment was going to cost several hundred dollars just to look at. This after any reasonable person would figure they had created the problem and were responsible to fix it, and they also should have shown a greater sense of urgency to get it back in.In the future I'll avoid any recalls that are not safety related and would not go back to Kendall **** service department (that's one of the reasons we did not buy another ******
