Heard great things decided to sign my child up for a class. They had issues with their building (not their fault) that closed them for three weeks. We were given the option to be enrolled in the next class cycle. That unfortunately did not work for our family.I emailed the owner about possibly another class session. It took a follow-up email for her to respond. Her response of Ill forget to enroll your child Ill just give you a refund for the classes missed fine by me- was planning on enrolling my child for a later date. She asked for my Venmo- gave it to her. Two days later- no money had been sent over- I asked if I could pick up a check or cash due to my Venmo being hacked. I received no response. I called her number asking if I could come by the following day for my refund. Did not receive a call back. Stopped by the following day. An employee informed me she could not refund me and had no access to the books but would let the owner know I stopped by looking for my refund. I assumed I would be hearing from her that day or the next but did not. I emailed the owner again- stating I was disappointed and was feeling ghosted and wanted my refund and membership deposit back and I would be stopping by the next day to pick that up - then the owner emailed me back right away informing me of personal reasons was keeping her from giving me my refund and to not bother stopping by because she wouldnt be at work the next day. I told her I would be in at the end of the week (3 days later) assuming that would be enough time for her to drop off the money she owed me. I was wrong, again no communication from the business owner, I showed up and the employee didnt have a refund for me. I finally gave the owner my MIL Venmo for her to send it to thinking it would be easier since she was dealing with a family matter. She didnt bother to reply or send the money. It took me filing a complaint with local law enforcement and harassing messages from an employee to get my refund.
