      BBB Case ID ********
We regret that ************* had a negative experience with Les Schwab ************ We take customer reports seriously and work diligently to immediately address customer concerns.
According to Les *********************** records, ************** first opened his retail credit account at the Happy Valley Les Schwab tire center on August 26, 2022, and charged products and services to that account. In September 2022, ************** failed to make the minimum payment due and the store notified ************** by phone and text message. In October 2022, ************** claimed the account was opened fraudulently and the charges were not his, but provided no proof of his claims such as a police report. Les Schwab appropriately continued efforts to collect payment on the account and reported his lack of timely payment on his account. On November 7, 2022, at Mr ****** request and as a courtesy to **************, the late payment was removed from Mr. ****** credit report.  ************** made a payment to his account on that same day. On November 28, 2022, ************** sent a statement stub with UCC coding to show his account was paid in full. Les Schwabs employees informed ************** that this form of payment was not acceptable and in order to avoid late fees and credit reporting, ************** must make a payment by credit or debit card, *******'s check or cash. Les Schwab continued and will continue to collect on Mr. ****** outstanding debt.
Although Les Schwab respectfully disagrees with the allegations in this report and are unwilling to resolve his concerns for what Mr. *********** asks, we would like to assure Mr. *********** that Les Schwab remains committed to providing the best service and products possible.
