    I paid Vance Bonner $150 on 2/17/2025 for 5 individual sessions as advertised in a local free paper called The Source Weekly on 1/9/2025 and subsequently advertised on her website *****************************. In my 2nd session, Vance unnecessarily and unprofessionally insulted me, calling me mean and rude even as I was in pain, yet following her instructions and participating in good faith. At no point was I ever mean or rude, though in fact, I could actually use those words to describe her behavior. I did not feel I could continue working with Vance after being insulted and her having created a hostile environment, and reached out to her via email twice attempting to collect the $90 refund I was owed for the three remaining unused sessions. Despite politely communicating my concerns from that second session and requesting a refund via email Vance Bonner did not address any of my concerns and sent me a one line response saying there are no refunds. Nowhere in the article written by the source weekly or on Vance Bonners webpage for. ***************************** did it state this no refund policy. Additionally, I did not fill out any paperwork before working with Vance, and certainly not anything committing all five sessions and not being refunded if I chose to end my sessions prematurely (which I did after being insulted, determining we could not continue working together).

In response to **** ****** complaint, when she signed up for the Series of 5, hour and a half private sessions, she came to 2 private sessions, and then, never came again. She emailed me several times, and Informed her again "there are no refunds."  Vance Bonner

    I am rejecting this response because:

    I was not informed of this businesss no refund policy, and in light of the fact that I did not attend 3 of the 5 stated sessions due to business owner insulting me in our 2nd session and creating a hostile environment ensuring I could not continue working with said business owner, I insist upon a refund of $90 for the 3 unused sessions. Not completely them was 100% the business owners fault which I communicated via email. If needed, I can provide copies of my email correspondence with the business to the BBB.

    Dear Ms. ******* Having received another screed from ****, here is more info.
     
    As I said in the web info where she heard of my work, students sign up for a series of 5, hour and a half PRIVATE Sessions . They pay in full before they have a class. They understand that is our agreement. It has never occurred to me to make them sign anything: in the over 50 years of teaching  the Vance Stance, this has sufficed.
     
    As **** told me before we began, she was in great pain from her many aliments.  ******* times I relayed to her that my expertise is not in what she suffers from. I told her of the things pertaining to alignment, posture, flexibility, and the like, which would be helpful to her in any event .I stand behind this.
     
    On her second class, she became rude and unkind to me as her other issues acted up. She blamed me tor her issues, not for what I was teaching her.  She left in a storm. 
     
      When I did not hear from her for some time, I did not know if she was  ready to pick up, later, as she felt better,  and less combative to me.
     
    After more time when she sent me the DEMAND to pay her for sessions unused, which I have never offered or given to students, she got more abusive.
     
    I certainly am not going to ever work with her again, after all this...
     
    I emailed her what I had said before: I do not give refunds, and never have, and they were never offered or discussed:  especially as she has had the   3 most most important  hours of my expertise, and chosen not to use her remailing time.!! 
     
     
    She has forfeited anything more from me, esp. in all the time I have had to spend trying to learn all the BBB requirements. Indeed, the BBB folks have been wonderful, in trying to get me thru this, over several days.  I am finished and done with ****.
