In March 2024, we contracted with Pacific Breeze for a landscaping project on our home in *************, OR to remove white landscaping rock that surrounded the mobile home, apply a layer of wood bark to replace the rock, remove a ***** in front of the home, remove a garden bed and fill and connect 2 planters to irrigation, for $2200. When the work was completed and we saw the results (we live in northern **), we were horrified. White rock was visible through the bark, indicating that the rock was not removed. When pushing the bark aside, white rock was fully visible. It appears that the company just overlaid the bark over the rock, and they did not even complete the rear part of the yard. The planters were filled with stone, cement and garbage dirt, and not connected to irrigation. We contacted the owner and after inspection she agreed the work was not completed as it should have been, said that she had not checked on the work that was done, and said it would be remedied. On 6/10/ we signed an updated work agreement that said the corrected work would be completed by 7/10. Many contacts took place but no work was completed by the end of July. On 7/28 we had a phone call with the owner and new site manager to discuss it. They would not agree to completely remedy the situation, only agreeing to move some of the bark away from one fence area and another small area, remove white rock from those areas and re-cover with bark. This was not acceptable to us, as so much of the white rock was still showing in the whole yard. We asked for our money back. On 8/10 they offered $1400 saying they had completed parts of the job. After we got 3 new estimates for correcting their work, (lowest being $3400) on 9/4 we agreed via email on $1800. We have no refund. This company has been non-responsive and avoidant during this whole process while we have tried to be patient. It has now been 3 months since the amended contract was signed. We want our refund and this complaint noted.
