      AVOID THIS FIRM-FAKE REVIEWS My husband hired IDIART firm after a woman attempted to run him over with her car in a store cross walk. Store cameras caught this. I was a witness to all. An officer arriving issued the woman a tix of reckless driving. Seeing all the positive reviews was impressive. Soon, it was clear that IDIART did not live up those. An early warning sign was a letter from them asking us for a positive review, prior to a case resolution. The letter stated, If you havent written a review online before, it can be daunting. We are here to help you; so please reach out to us to help you write a positive review. Right after we retained IDIART, & before my husbands properly assessed injuries, IDIART sent two high settlement offers. Both were sensibly rejected. I could understood why the insurer fought settlement, & deny liability, despite receiving a store video, & other relevant information. IDIARTs initial settlement offers were inexpert, baseless & absurd. IDIART presented itself as only desiring a quick, profitable settlement before a proper case assessment.With a dead husband, I had to demand updates, double check their work, do my research, provide copies (often multiple), point to relevant case facts they gave no weight to, & educate them on law. The one settlement offer they were able to get from the insurer was $2,300. IDIART insisted much that the case was not worth more & suggested I accept. Clearly my husbands injury, & relevant facts made his case worth more. I refused. Except to send high settlements, IDIART did little, if any, real legal work or good-faith negotiation.Barely before the *** expired, advising me to accept the $2300 offer. I threatened to file a bar complaint to get them a civil suit filed against the driver, which they finally did. I reviewed & thought $20,000 was fair. After filing, I instructed IDIART to send the insurer an offer to settle for $20,000. The insurance countered at $18,500. It was then I settled.
