    My slide out on my 2016 Winnebago Adventure was not working.Took into Brothers RV Repair and they installed a control module.Payed them $645.00 dollars.Took the the motorhome for a trip in September for a week and the slide out worked twice.Tryed the slide out about a week later and it did not work.Took it back to Brothers to have it fixed again .The rv was in their shop for two months with me making several calls asking when it would be fixed.Went to pick up the rv July 28 paying them another $479.00 for what they said was a bad wiring harness.We went out side to try the slide out and it did not work.Left it with them again for another month with me calling them several time with them telling me they were working on it. I finally told them thats enough.They either would not or could not fix the slide out.First time I every payed for something that was not fixed.Very poor service.

    before bringing the coach to our shop the customer had a mobile tech come out and had the back slide motor replace, The first time this coach was in our shop the problem was resolved by replacing the control module  when it left our shop on 08-09-2022 it worked and worked for the customer for a little bit, was brought back months later on 02-01-2023 not working again we worked with the manufacture of the slide company tech support to figure out why the slide was randomly working and not working, found loss of communication in the communication wire so we fixed that the slide started working just fine. we did have to wait for the part that we had to order in and customer was advised of this the work was completed on 3-10-2023 not two months just over a month and most of that time was waiting for the parts we have no control over that time.when the customer came to pick up on 03-14-2023 the slide started acting up again so he left it with ** to figure out, knowing the motor , control box and com cable had been replaced there is nothing else to cause the issue that was happening so we decided to start our diag all over as if nothing had been done in doing so we pulled the motor that was replaced by *************** and found that the motor was turning because the hold points in the rack system is broken witch in turn caused the erratic working and not working and shorting in the cable problem  we were having. we did not do the motor  and this should have been caught by him then but wasn't.we called the customer roughly a week or two after he left it and let him know what we found and that he needed a new rack system to fix the problem he said he would just pick it up cause we had not fixed it I explained to him we did not do the motor repair that was the problem of all of this and to fix it it needs a rack system he got upset and came and got the rv.

    I am rejecting this response because: If indeed the  motor was bad why was it not pick up.A control module was replaced which was not needed.When this did not fixed the problem a wiring harness was replaced which did not fix the problem and which they said was caused to go bad because of the new control  module.Now we are at the point where they said we are going to start over.So they said the gear rack ass'y was bad.They are throwing expensive parts at a problem with no guarantee that it will be solved. Their not fix  the problem has cost me $1124.00 dollars.Very poor service and I would like a refund.

    we were told the motor had been replaced by a mobile tech, when we did our original check out the module was bad so we replaced it the slide started working,that was a problem we fix it.we had no idea the person that did the motor damaged the slide rack or the the slide rack was bad before he did the motor if this is the case he should not have done the motor,regardless we did fix a problem in the module and replacing the cable was the only logical thing that could be the problem and it was loosing power witch usually means its bad.we are going offer a refund of the last bill ****** for a resolution. this is all I'm willing to do the motor was not are fault but will do this to make it right.

    the customer came to my office and got his refund.on the 18th i thought that closed it..
